Orgauization
Dear Friends,
Summers are usually busier than normal, and this one is no excep
tion. In some ways, busy for different reasons. Teri arrived here in the
DFW area on May 13th from China. She arrived about a month and a half
early, due to the SARS epidemic in her area of North West China. It was a
pleasure, of course, to have her back early. So, between spending time
with Teri and doing some traveling, the past couple of months have really
been busy.
Teri and 1 drove up to Bethel Missouri for a mini orientation with
Vanessa Vannoy. Vanessa is a new recruit that just graduated from Ozark
volved with the local church with Bill and Ann Caroline Baird.
We had a
While our orientation was going on, Wayne Black, our missionary
that spends a lot of time in Haiti and is over our Haiti projects, came and
built a storage shed there on the office property in Bethel. The storage
shed will be used for missionaries goods that they store here. The office
house attic is about ready to cave in and a storage shed was needed badly.
After our orientation in Bethel, we drove to St. Louis to have our O.I.
bi-annual meeting. Stacy Garner, who does our short term summer intern
ships with Outreach, hosted the meeting at the church where he minis
ters- Ferguson Christian Church. We had a great meeting. We had most of
our board members there and several of our board of advisors. The meet
ing was very informative and we felt a lot was accomplished with new
projects such as the invitation for Outreach International to return to
south Sudan, recruiting opportunities expanding with Teri coming on
board as my wife while being involved in the work here in the office as
well as her being a big part of recruiting missionaries, the research pro
ject for un-reached peoples expanding euid growing, and hoping to get a
good video done of the work of Outreach International, in the near future.
Other things were discussed too, all in all, we had a good meeting.
By the way, we want you to let us know if you would like us to put
you on an e-mail list where we can send newsletters to you via e-mail.
God Bless all of you! Thank you so very much for all the support
that you give, prayers and Financial help to make it possible for us to
serve the Lord in this way. We praise God for the all that we have seen
Him do.
Your Servant,
Jonathan Hamilton

OUR TRAVELS
October has been fiiU of speaking appointments and ministry opportunities. The
first weekend of October we took part in a CIY missions emphasis conference
conference at Dallas Christian College for youth leaders, where Jonathan led a
workshop entitled "Evangelism in the Post-Modem Age." While we were at DCC
we were able to visit with Nathan and Jessica Pykkonen, who are Outreach Interna
tional missionaries returning to Cameroon, Africa when Nathan finishes his school
ing at DCC in a year and a half.
The third and fourth weeks of October we traveled to Missouri and Indiana. While

thaii the Lord for their love and support over the past fifteen years. We enjoyed
sharing with them. After church on Sunday, we met with a family about a possible
new project in New Guinea. Please keep this project in your prayers. We'll keep
you updated as things progress. Later that week we also met with a group of stu
dents from the university campus ministry in Kirksville, Missouri.

The last weekend in October we are planning to visit New Life Christian Church in
Chickasha, Oklahoma. In November we plan to speak at Mt. Fork Christian
Church in Mena, Arkansas. And of course we plan to attend the National Mission
>
ary Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio where we will have a booth and we pray for
many opportunities to share during that time. We hope to see youthere! Be sure to
stop by our booth and say hello.

NEW PROJECTS
Charles Ulibarri, an 01 recruit with his femily planning to go to Equatorial Guinea next year, is currently
helping us get an 01 website up and running. The website is under construction at the moment, but otir pur
pose is to have a website available for recruiting purposes as well as updates on some of our missionaries.
The address is www.outreachintemationalonline.org We hope you'll take a look at it.
We are in the process of putting together a video for Outreach International. We hope it will be useful for
motivating and recmiting people as we look for teams to place in unreached areas around the world. We
are praying to have the funds to be able to complete this project with Good News Productions within the
next few months.
As we mentioned previously we have a family making a three-year-plan to set up and build a literacy center
in New Guinea. They will be making a trip in November to New Guinea to get Outreach Intemational reg
istered in that country so they can begin the project. Please pray for them as they meet with all the officials
and get all the paperwork in order. They will be there for six weeks in November and December.
Outreach Intemational has recently added one more local preacher in Haiti, Obison Joseph. Obison works
with Wayne and Judy Black with Labors of Love. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he
ministers to the church in Haiti.
Two men, James and Moses, that A1 met while in Sudan have asked Outreach Intemational to help and be
involved in youth ministry in Southern Sudan. Funds are needed for them to continuein this youth ministry
full-time. They've also asked A1 to spend some time with them, and he plans to do that when he makes his
next trip to Sudan. Please continue to pray for the persecuted diiirch in Sudan.
RESEARCH PROJECT
Outreach Intemational has had an ongoing research project under Youth Educational Services (YES) pro
gram targeting unreached people groups around the world. We are looking for people to do research on a
specific unreached people group and then make a survey trip to that country to find but what it would take
to get a team in that country, with the ultimate goal of planting a church among those people. We believe
that university students ^e in a good position to be involved in this project. Please pray for us as we try to
find students to take on this chaUenge.
WIAYER REQUESTS-
Pray for our OI personnel in France, Haiti, Equatorial Guinea, Russia, Southeast Asia, and our office
Pray for those we've talked to about overseas work as they consider the needs and their part in service
To meet all the opportunities we have, we need additional funds to be able to travel to churches and Bi
ble colleges and university campus ministries for recmiting
Here at home we continue to minister at DeSoto Christian Church, a small church in the Dallas area, as we
work with the youth on Sundays and Wednesday nights. We also continue to work with the missions team
at our homechurch. Highland Meadows Christian Church. We taught a citizenship class at HMCC this Fall
helping people wMi the process of becoming a citizen of the US, which includes a test in history and gov
ernment.
If you would like us to visit and share with your church or youth group, let us know. Thank you all for your
prayers and support and your partnership in this ministry that God has given us. God bless you.

Outreach International had a good board meeting at the National Missionary Oonvention in
O'ocinnati, where most of our board of directors and advisors were able to attend. The board
meeting went well, and much was accomplished. We were disappointed that we were not able to
be at the Oi^nvention or the board meeting, due to Jonathan's health. We have had to cancel
several speaking engagements and conferences that we had scheduled in ebruary because
Jonathan is still in recovery and on high immune suppressant drugs. We'll use our time "in" on
some specific projects, such as avideo script, country and university profiles, and research.
