Rescued beagle mix trying a second chance
A 1 year old dog named Remy, is beagle/ hound mix who was rescued was rescued
from a shelter in the southern United States placed in a home in which he did not fit in
with the family. In the shelter employees described him as a very friendly dog that should
not be in a home with small children.

In Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, said on Friday that the state has effectively put a
suspension on death penalty.
While ha awaits a report from the states uses of capital punishment, he will allow
temporary reprieves for those inmates that have a death row that awaits them such as
Terrance Williams, who was slated to be executed on March 4.Wolf also said that this is
no way to punish people especially those inmates who have committed wicked crimes.
He also stated that capital punishment is expensive and possibly ineffective and
sometimes inaccurate.

In other news, a North Carolina man shoots and kills three students . Before he killed this
three students, he had previously threatened to kill his neighbors before, this is according
to a new report. The shooter ( Craig Stephen Hicks) was a self appointed watchman
of his Chapel Hill apartment complex, the New York Times reports. Hicks had previous
in the fall knocked on the door of the two victims Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha and
Deah Shaddy Barakat and he was complaining that they were making too much noise
while playing a board game. Although many say it was caused due to the students being
Muslims but authorities have said through investigation that it was caused due to an
ongoing parking dispute.

In International News
In Saudi Arabia, two women who were detained for defying a ban on female driving,
have been released after spending two months in prison. Loujain al-Hathloul and Maysaa
al-Amoudi had been held since Dec.1, afte al-Hathloul,25, attempted to drive from the
United Arab Emirates, Agence France-Presse reports.
