ARI's Warship Simulator has been designed to facilitate training in ship

handling, maneuvering and decision making on naval warships in an
environment that offers all the complexities of the real world without
any of the associated dangers, risks and costs.

The ARI Full Mission Warship Simulator provides detailed simulations
of a comprehensive range of the features unique to naval vessels and
accurately simulates the ship handling characteristics of a wide variety
of naval ships including destroyers, frigates, missile ships, offshore
patrol vessels and more. Bridge equipment, specific to naval vessels, is
ergonomically built and arranged in a manner that provides the total
look and feel of a naval ship in motion. High fidelity visual display systems
and rigorously modeled 3-dimensional scenes provide a completely
immersive and believable environment for the hands-on training of
naval personnel.

The visual system for the ARI Warship Simulator uses cutting edge 3D
graphics effects including smoke, motion blurring, colored fog, antialiasing, dynamic lighting, fully animated textures, multi texturing, MIP
mapping, tri-linear filtering, 24bit Z-Buffering and other visual
technologies that combine to provide a rich, immersive and ultra
realistic simulation environment.
Our simulators are designed to be completely independent of any
particular type of display devices, allowing clients to select their own
preferred display architecture. We have installed bridges based on
projection systems, large plasma display panels and large LCD panels.
When combined with our simulator bridge environments these
technologies all yield a truly stunning sense of realism. ARI designers
and engineers can guide clients in the selection of a display hardware
system which will most optimally meet their specific requirements.

Training and support

ARI remains with you every step of the way with our comprehensive
and internationally proven warranty, maintenance and upgrade
programs; our "Train the Trainer" post installation programs that help
your Instructors to extract the very best from the equipment at their
disposal, and an internet and telephone support network that is
available for your queries and clarifications. We also offer a range of
compelling commercial models - designed to meet customer budgets
and structures - including subscriptions, leases and tailored commercial
packages.

ARI offers naval simulation customers a large range of options for
equipment, systems and subsystems to choose from and our simulators
can be delivered with an exact replica of the equipment and systems
present on your own vessel bridges. Standard feature configurations
include RADAR(s), electronic chart systems, speed log(s), GPS, depth
sounder, ship maneuvering and conning systems, bearing measurement
systems, communication subsystems, GMDSS simulation systems and a
range of other bridge equipment. We can additionally supply weapons
firing control systems and other warfare specific features catering to
the demands of specific vessel types.

Whilst clients can choose from our existing open market library of
systems and subsystems, we can also model your own particular
equipment and systems to your exact specifications on a turnkey basis,
and for your own exclusive use. Our designers have deep domain
knowledge and will work with your experts to deliver the precise
functionality you need.

ARI simulation solutions are designed to be modular, making it possible
to create a simulated bridge environment very similar to the way a
client's specific vessels are designed. We have designed and installed a
large number of naval bridge simulators, each with its own unique layout
and appearance. ARI's expert design teams are also available to bring
their extensive experience to assist our clients in designing optimal
solutions for their requirements.

Our naval simulators have an extensive library of exercise areas

available, from which the user can choose specific scenarios for a given
training exercise. Our area libraries are continuously updated and
added to, and newly released areas can be easily procured and installed
into the simulator. We also offer a complete customization service with
our naval simulation products, and can develop specific exercise areas
for the exclusive use of individual naval customers.
We have a fully certified and very strong security system in place
guaranteeing the safety and confidentiality of sensitive data in our
custody.

There are no limits

Upgrades are a way of life. New equipment is modeled; enhanced
functionality is created; new features are added; and software updates
and upgrades are produced from our Delhi simulation development
centre on a continuous basis. All naval customers are given the option
to upgrade their existing systems on a priority basis as soon as such
upgrades are released.
