Following your request, we are pleased to submit herewith our proposal to undertake subsoil
investigationattheabovementionedproject,asfollows:
1.ScopeofWork
1.1SoilBoring
Asrequired,weshalldrillanaggregatetotaldepthofOneHundredTwenty(120.0)
metersforSix(6.0)boreholes.Eachholeshallbedrilledatanaveragedepthof
Twenty(20.0)meters.Aholemaybeterminatedatashallowerdepthifitindicates
thickandsoundrockformationatsuchdepth.Soilsampleswillbeobtainedatan
intervalnotexceeding1.5metersusingstandardsplitspoonsampler,anddouble
tubecorebarrelforrockcores.Simultaneously,standardpenetrationtestwillbe
performedwitheachsampling.
Insoftcohesivelayer,undisturbedsampleswillbeobtainedbyshelbytubesampler.
Whererock,boulderorgravellylayerformationareencountered,coringshallbe
performedtoobtainatleastanNQcoresize.
Complete log of the boring shall be made by our Field Engineer and this will
include the depth and identification of samples obtained, SPT values, percent
recoverywaterlevelmeasurementduringthetimeandattheendofdrilling.

1.2

LaboratoryTesting
Laboratorytestinginaccordancewiththestandardrequirementsandprocedures
shallbeperformedonthesoilsamplesobtainedtoascertainthetypeofsoil
encounteredandtodetermineasoundeconomicdesigncriteriafortheproposed
structure.

1.3

Report
Three(3)boundcopiesofgeotechnicalreportshallbesubmittedtotheClientafter
thecompletionoffieldworksandlaboratorytesting.Thereportshallcontainamong
otherthingsthedescriptionofthework,subsoilfindings,laboratorytestresults,and
othersoildatarequiredforthedesign,includingliquefactionandpileanalysis.

Cost
Ourcostincludessalaries,perdiems,equipmentdepreciationandotherincidentalexpenses
relativetothisinvestigation.

5.OtherConditions
5.1

LocationofboreholesshallbejointlystakedoutbytheClientsandContractors
dulydesignatedrepresentative.

5.2

Necessarypermitsfortheoccupancyoftheprojectareashallbearrangedbythe
Clientandshallassistusinsecuringsuchpermits.

5.3

TheClientshallassignaninspectordulyauthorizedtoacknowledgethe
accomplishmentoftheContractor.Asmuchaspossible,thedesignatedinspector
shallbepresentatalltimestowitnessanddulycertifytotheaccomplishment.

5.4

Delayscausedbyadversedweatherconditions,suchastyphoons,heavyrainsand
otherunforseeneventsshallnotbeappliedtoourstipulatedperformanceperiod.

5.5

TheClientshallprovidewaterduringtheentiredrillingoperation

Shouldyouagreewiththeabovetermsandconditions,kindlysignifythesamebysigningonthe
spaceprovidedforbelow,andreturntousasignedcopyandthiswillserveasourWorking
Agreement.
