the Australian Outback to minus 30 degree temperatures in Sweden.
The modern styling of the All-New RANGER incorporates taut, toned,
muscular lines and craftsmanship that exceeds expectations.
Every nut, bolt, component and piece of technology has been tried, tested
and proven for physical endurance, performance, safety and durability.
The improved turning circle makes the RANGER easily manoeuvrable in
parking and on narrow city streets.

Intelligent
Smart, sustainable and green solutions reducing cost of ownership.
Engineered for safety; fully equipped with a host of active and passive
safety features.
New seating and door panels tested to better withstand marking
and scuffing.
Improved fuel economy with improved performance.
The 2.5l four-cylinder petrol engine achieves best-in-class fuel
economy, with a two-wheel drive model consuming just 9.8l/100 km in
a combined cycle.
When fitted to a 4x2 model, the 2.2l four-cylinder diesel can consume
as little as 7.6l/100km in a combined cycle.
The 3.2l five-cylinder diesels fuel consumption in a combined cycle
is among the leaders in this area, ranging from 8.4l/100 km on a 4x2
variant to 9.6l/100 km on a full-option 4x4 model.
Powerful new Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engines delivers strong,
refined performance.
Lower cost of ownership.
The 2.5l Duratec petrol engine produces improved fuel efficiency and
reduced emissions with sequential multiport fuel injection as well as
improved flexible fuel capability.
Driver Recognition feature uses the information of the shift points to
adapt to the drivers style and ensure the transmission is always in the
right gear for your style.
Gradient Recognition feature to monitor the gradient you are driving
on to ensure you are in the right gear for the gradient in automatic
transmission models.
Grade Control Logic on a downhill will apply the brakes and it will
downshift the gears to provide extra engine braking for control and
confidence in automatic transmission models.
In 4x4 models Shift-On-The-Fly at any speed up to 120km/h.
