spiritual beings called Siddhar Ganam's and Siva bhoota Gananm's during these three
important Amavasai...

Aadee amavasai
Purrataasi amavasai

Its very good to perform ..
Kuladeiva Pooja
Pitru Pooja/ Homa (ancestors prayers)
Karma santhi Pooja (Karma cleansing rituals)
Mantra initiation
Upasana
Office or House vasthu cleansing
Well it is and important day to think of our ancestors who will be paying their visits to our
premises in Sookuma form..
Procedures ....
Clean the house a day before with rock salt and turmeric powder ..
Place 7 ghee lights out side of the house on the Amavasai day..6 facing North and One
facing South ..
One is for your Kuladeivam
Second one is for Ancestors
Third one is for the Graama deivam
Fourth one is for Guru Mandala
Fifth one is for Saptarhishi Mandala
Sixth one is for Navagraha devathas
Seventh one is for all the Sookuma entities ..
Offering sweet ponggal, young coconut, three Cooked vegetables mixture, aval poree
kadalai, bunch of banana, 3 rice balls mixed with black sesame seeds,navathaniam, pure
ghee, and betel leafs paakku.
Place everything in the banana leaf.. infront of the ghee lights.
You may place this anywhere at your balcony ..if in case you can't do it out side of the
house you can do it at your prayers room no harm..
Accurate time for the prayers will be at
1.15 pm till 3.15 pm
You may chant Siva naamam (OM SIVA SIVA OM) ,Sivapuranam,Potri thiruthaandagam by
Appar swamigal..

Than after an hour upon completing the prayers , you must leave the offerings in the sea
or river..
If possible please DONATES some food or provisions for the unfortunates or POOR MAN
SHIVABARATY ( COFFEE LATTE HILTON CHEESE CAKE) ...!!!!
This is an old method which is still following by some authentic tribes in South India...and
thought by my Guru to me...
YOU WILL SEE THEIR PRESENCE ON THAT DAY IN ANY WAYS ... IF AT ALL YOU DONT
SEEMS TO FEEL THEIR PRESENCE YOUR KULADEIVAM IS NOT IN YOUR COMMUNICATION
EITHER ...

This is a secret ritual to please those invisible entities inorder to get their blessings ..
