and clinical instruments and utilization of diagnostic examination reports.

Education: A holder of bachelor Degree in Nursing from

reputable school of Nursing.

Member of an accredited professional organization for nurses

Training and Experience: Must have at least 4 years of
clinical nursing experience. 2 years of administrative

Job Summary
Under general supervision, supervises the Nursing care service unit through
mentoring and monitoring work of nursing staff and students in the hospital; performs

Job Description
A. Supervision of Patient Care
1. Checks the Senior Nurses plans for patient care and uses to it that they are
properly executed
2. Keeps herself informed of patients needs and problems.

3. Reinforces health instructions given to patients and their families as the need
arises.
4. Verifies implementation of request of referrals to evaluate continually of care.
5. Serves as consultant and adviser to the Senior Nurse in developing, devising
and adopting work techniques and methods for the solution of problems

B. Personnel Management
1. Interprets standard operating ad new procedures and policies, reviews work
performance of personnel to determine if it confronts to recognized standards.
2. Plan the programs and work of all the nursing personnel of the unit.
3. Directs arrangement of schedule of work hours, off-duties, vacation leaves,
etc., of all nursing person not assign in the unit.

1. Helps in providing an adequate and safe environment by guiding and helping
Head Nurses in providing and maintaining a safe, orderly and clean
environment for patient and personnel.

D. Specific Job Description
1. Regularly reports for duty ahead of time for prayers and endorsement in the
unit.

making nursing rounds.
3. Makes patient rounds and sees to it that all patients in her ward get the
necessary care;
4. Sees to it that all equipments are in order and properly kept and supplies are
available.

Job Summary
A registered nurse who acts as a liaison between the Nursing service Director
and the personnel in the Nursing Service Department and it is responsible for the
administration of nursing service in the units. He or she acts as a liaison of the Director of
the Nursing Service and the respective heads of the units, and is responsible of the

activities related to the general supervision of nursing care. Maybe rotated to all shifts
upon discretion of the Director of Nursing Service.
