Brooks Simpson is a history professor at Arizona State University. Simpson is also an


expert on Ulysses S. Grant, writing two books on Grant. Over the past decades, Simpson
won awards on his books on Grant. Brooks Simpson gave us information on Grant that
he gathered over his years of work on Grant. This source was extremely helpful as he
enlighten us with information on the general himself.
