When the YLKNNTXN GTD-5 shows:
Z%SYSMNOPS GWY FAILED CALL TSS
This means that there is a problem on the Operational Gateway (O.G.) To find out what
the problem is:
- Connect to the Virtual IP of the YLKNNTXN O.G. using Procomm172.31.100.120 P23
- Log into the UNIX Prompt (craft, craft)
- At the UNIX prompt, enter bi
- Log into the BI prompt (craft, craft)
The system will output all active alarms, the screen will look similar to below:
NOTE: Any time you are in the BI terminal screen, you can pull this data by entering the
command get alarms;
To find out what backup has failed, you must be logged into the BI terminal. Enter the
command: get memdump: <name>; (<name> refers to the name of the backup
as on previous page)
For example, inputting the command get memdump: backup; will output:

This output details when the backup was created, and all pertinent information, and will
also tell you if the backup has succeeded.
A failed backup will output similar to the following:

This output details when the backup was attempted, and the final status of the attempt.
To correct the failed backup, you must be at a UNIX prompt.
From the BI terminal enter: exit;

When you are done working in the O.G. input exit from the UNIX prompt to
disconnect.
