Our Salvation

Our salvation – something that must be sought after, desired with our hearts and minds. The price has
been paid. His blood was shed. To venture out in life without His blood – a dangerous thing. The angel of
death – death hangs over them. Those who didn’t make preparation … (“For I will pass through the land of
Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all
the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] Yahveh. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon
the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon
you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:12,13)

the wine – the blood of the vine, the veins – as they are broken … As His body was broken for us: This
blood shed for many. (“And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for
many.” Mark 14:24) Salvation is something we must want more than anything. – Those things that may
snare us are not worth the atonement of our soul. Being a “good” person won’t save us, or joining up with
some group – but really being washed in the blood. Many know not the power of His blood. The angel of
death awaits those who have not been washed in the blood.

Except we eat of His flesh, drink of His blood, cannot be saved. (“Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily,
verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For
my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,
dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth
me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat
manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.” John 6:53-58)

The Word became flesh – that Word must become part of us. Our salvation – What higher thing is there?
Working out our salvation (“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence
only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippans
2:12)

Those that believe to the saving of the soul. (“But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of
them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:39)

Lightness among many makes you wonder how much they believe. Must want to be saved – obedience.
“Save yourselves” ( ) – Something we must do (not that we can replace the blood). As the angel of
death saw the blood and passed over (“For Yahveh will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he
seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, Yahveh will pass over the door, and will not
suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite [you].” Exodus 12:23) – a sign of their
obedience. (It would not have been enough just to have a lamb on the door.)

He has provided a way to pass from death to life. How much do we want to be saved? How much do we
believe that He has a plan of redemption for us? Folks are busy doing other things besides working on
their salvation.
