Information
Get excited about volunteering at the Zoo in a whole new way! Have you ever wanted to learn about caring
for endangered and exotic wildlife? Are you interested in spending part of your summer with some of the
coolest animals around? Do you want to use the arts to spread awareness? If you answered Yes! to one or
all of these questions, then the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is the place for you! You will experience the
Zoo from an entirely different angle that very few people get the opportunity to encounter. You will make
friends that share your passion for wildlife and other similar interests. You will gain first-hand knowledge
of various Zoo careers, while simultaneously earning community service hours for school!
ZooTeens! must possess positive characteristics, such as dedication and a positive attitude, even when
