The President is the leader of the United States of America, specifically the leader of the executive branch of the
United States of America.
I.
Executive Office of the President is an office created by Franklin D. Roosevelt consisting of a group people
who help support the President by providing him advice, information. It is divided by many offices and departments.
A.
Vice President is the officer in government below the president, carrying out tasks ordered by the president
and assisting the president.
B.
White House Office is an entity of the executive office of the president that is made up of assistants to the
president and the White House. These people oversee the interests of the president and the White House.
Chief of Staff is the highest ranking officer in the executive office of the president. The Chief of
Staff and the president select key White House staff and supervises them.

OMB

The Office of Management and Budget is the largest component of the executive office of the president, reports
directly to the President and helps a wide range of executive departments and agencies. The mission of the OMB is
to serve the President of the United States in implementing his vision across the Executive Branch.

National Security Council is forum used by the President of the United States for considering national security and
foreign policy matters with his associates.
The mission of the NSC is to advise and assist the President on national security and foreign policies.

The purpose of the is Bureau of International Organization Affairs is to advancing the Presidents vision of whatever
he wants and advancing U.S. national interests by taking part and talking with the United Nations and a host of
international agencies and organizations. This helps carry out the mission of the Department of State by talking with
other countries and other international organizations, it enables access to work with them to foster an ideal
world/conditions for a better world.
The purpose of the Bureau of Legislative Affairs is to coordinate legislative activity for the Department of State and
advises the Secretary, the Deputy, as well as the Under Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries on legislative strategy.
This carries out the mission of the department because in order to shape an ideal world the Department of State
needs to talk about legislation (both in Congress and the United Nations/international countries).
The purpose of the is Bureau of Administration is to provides support programs to the Department of State and U.S.
embassies and consulates. This carries out the mission of the Department of State because embassies and consulates
that work with other countries must be able to get transportation, information, and guidance in order to work with
other countries (for instance, you cant help international countries without the airplane tickets- this agency helps the
embassies/consulates get airplane tickets).

The department of Defense is a group of people charged with managing all agencies and functions of with national
security and the United States Armed Forces of the US government

The purpose of the Defense Intelligence Agency is to provide military intelligence to warfighters, defense
policymakers and force planners in the Department of Defense and plan, manage, and execute intelligence
operations during peacetime, crisis, and war. This carries out the mission of the Department of Defense because

sharing capabilities, and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to leaders of the
military and Department of Defense. This carries out the mission of the Department of Defense as information is
very important for the Department of Defense to make informed decisions that have long-lasting impact.
The purpose of the Washington Headquarters Services is to provide a wide range of centralized
capabilities to DoD headquarters, OSD, and DoD components, enabling economies of scale for delivering
essential administrative services to fulfill the mission of the Department. This carries out the mission of the
department of defense as the services are required for the department to do its job.

revenue.
The mission of the US Department of Treasury is to maintain a strong economy and create economic and
opportunities.
The purpose of the Financial Management Service is to provide financial services for the federal government. This
carries out the mission of the Department of Treasury because this agency allow the federal government to distribute
hundreds to thousands to millions to billions of dollars for the government to spend, manage, or collect throughout
its laws or taxes.
The purpose of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service is to manage the government's accounting, central payment systems,

money (Bureau) and this carries out the mission of the Department of Treasury because the department cannot
manage government revenue without the ability to create money, in the form of coins and paper money.

The department of Justice is the U.S. federal executive department responsible for the enforcement of the law
The mission of the US Department of Justice is to enforce the law, to ensure public safety, to prevent and control
crime ensure justice for all Americans.
The purpose of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Police (FBIP) is to prosecute people who break federal law and
this carries out the mission of the Department of Justice because police is necessary to enforce federal law and
having a federal police makes it easier to mark that the criminal broke a federal law not a state or local law.
The purpose of the United States Attorney is to represent the United States federal government in United States
district court and United States court of appeals. This carries out the mission of the Department of Justice because
the attorneys are necessary to defend the US Government and the attacker/person sued/defender when there is a
court case, thus making the court case fair so if the defender loses the court he can be prosecuted for breaking a
federal law without questioning of an unfair trial.
The purpose of the Office of Legislative Affairs is to develop and implement of strategies to advance the
Department's legislative initiatives among Congress. This carries out the mission of the Department of Justice
because the Department of Justice must work with Congress to understand a law if someone breaks it.

The department of Interior is the U.S. federal executive department of the U.S. government responsible for the
management of federal land and natural resources
The mission of the US Department of Interior is to protect America's Great Outdoors and Powering the Future.
The purpose of the United States Bureau of Reclamation is oversees water resource management, specifically as it
applies to the oversight and operation of the diversion, delivery, and storage projects for irrigation, water supply, and
delivers water to millions to people. This carries out the mission of the Department of Interior because water is a
precious natural resource and if not managed properly US would run out of water and many people would die in
thirst (and hunger, disease as well).

The purpose of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service is to manage (conserve, protect, and enhance) wildlife,
and natural habitats. This carries out the mission of the Department of Interior because to manage land and federal
resources preserving wildlife and habitats will ensure the resource (timber, fur, etc) will remain in the far future and
not be depleted.
The purpose of the Office of Natural Resources Revenue is to collect natural resources and money from the lands.
This carries out the mission of the Department of Interior because the resources are necessary to sustain cities and
life in modern America and the revenue is necessary to fund the entire department and its mission to manage land
and resources.

The department of Agriculture is the U.S. federal executive department of the U.S. government responsible for
agriculture, farming, and food.
The mission of the US Department of Agriculture is to provide leadership on food, agriculture, nutrition, and
to promote agriculture production sustainability that better nourishes Americans.
The purpose of the Bureau of Animal Industry Agency is to protect the public from infection or disease
contaminated meat products and improve livestock quality. This meets the mission of the Department because
improving animal products improves nutrition and food safety.
The purpose of the Food Safety and Inspection Service Agency is to ensure the food supply of America is safe and
this meets the mission of the Department of Agriculture because making sure food isnt rotten or diseased improves
nutrition and food safety.
The purpose of the War Food Administration agency is to make sure schoolchildren get food and soldiers
during wartime. This meets the mission of the Department because this makes sure schools can educate
children (nourishing Americans) and soldiers can properly defend America or invade a country (nourishing
Americans).

The department of Commerce is the U.S. federal executive department of the U.S. government responsible for
economic growth.
The mission of the US Department of Commerce is to promote job creation, economic growth, improved standards
of living for all Americans, and to drive U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace.
The purpose of The International Trade Administration (ITA) is to promotes United States exports of
nonagricultural U.S. services and goods and this meets the mission of the Department of Commerce as exports of
US goods is very important for the US economy.
The purpose of the Economic Development Administration (EDA) is to provide assistance to economically
distressed communities in order to generate new employment, help retain existing jobs and stimulate industrial and
commercial growth through a variety of investment programs. [1] This meets the mission of the Department of
Commerce because helping many of these communities can improve economic growth of the whole country and
create new jobs.
The purpose of the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is to deals with issues involving national security and
high technology.such as stopping the selling of weapons of mass destruction and other dangerous or illegal items.

quality of products/safety is assured.

The department of Labor is the U.S. federal executive department of the U.S. government responsible for occupation
and employment.
The mission of the US Department of Labor is to foster, promote, and develop the welfare of the wage earners and
job seekers of the United States.
The purpose of the Bureau of International Labor Affairs is to improve working conditions, raise living
standards, ensure a fair playing field for American workers and increase sales of US goods. This meets the mission
of the Department of Labor because this helps the wage earners and when there are more US goods sold more job
seekers can find a job.
The purpose of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is to assure safe working conditions for
workers and enforcing standards and by providing training and assistance. This meets the mission of the Department
of Labor because safe environments help workers and training helps job seekers.
The purpose of the Employment and Training Administration is to contribute to the more efficient and effective
functioning of the U.S. labor market by providing job training, employment, and other services primarily through
State and local governments. This meets the mission of the Department of Labor because providing these services
helps the existing workers improve their quality of work and helps job seekers gain employment.

supervision of food safety, drugs, health products, and medical treatments. This carries the mission of the US
Department of Health and Human Services as regulating these products is important to ensure that dangerous and
unsafe products/treatments remain off the market.
The purpose of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is to protect public health and safety through the
control and prevention of disease, injury, and disability. THis carries out the mission of the Department because
controlling and preventing diseases requires human services and overall protects public health.
The purpose of the National Institutes of Health (a biomedical research facility federal agency) is to conduct
research and communicate to the rest of the department especially about discoveries. This carries out the mission of
the department as research is important for improving health services, cure diseases, save lives, protect public
health.

housing standards, and stabilize the mortgage market. This serves the purpose of the department as policies on
housing include standards on construction and loans. In result if the market is stabilized more people can afford to
buy homes.

the purpose of the department as more people are taking mortgages and the increased occurrence of foreclosures,
this important aspect of housing must have federal policies/rules set in place. Morgages make it easier for people
afford homes otherwise they cannot afford.
The purpose of the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Agency is to administer and enforce housing
laws and establish policies that make sure all Americans have equal access to the housing of their choice. This
serves the mission of the department as more people can afford homes.
