Now, as you may know, there is a plan for building a new bridge for I-75 traffic next to the current Brent
Spence Bridge. As part of this plan, eight miles of the highway would be widened, and the current bridge
would be improved for safety purposes and then remain for I-71 travel, costing $2.7 billion which could
be paid for through a combination of federal and local revenues, including tolls.
Generally speaking, would you support or oppose this plan?

And, if you learned that your State Legislator voted to build a new bridge next to the current Brent
Spence Bridge with the funding coming from a combination of federal and local revenues including tolls,
would you be more likely to support them in the next election, less likely, or would it make no difference
in your vote?

Now, Id like to read you a few funding alternatives that could be done to pay for this new bridge plan,
rather than having tolls. After you hear each alternative, please tell me whether you would support or
oppose that approach rather than having tolls.
