There are various habits. However, one of them I have taken up recently is
taking a nap. My working hour starts early at 7 am. This, actually, is harmful
to my health, I think. You know, I get accustomed to staying up late,
sometimes up to 3 am. Therefore, getting up early in the morning is a
terrible thing for me and makes me hardly concentrate on my work in the
afternoon. As a result, I need a short nap to get spirit to fight against a stack
of paper on the office table. Thanks to sticking to this habit, I feel refreshed,
recharged and re-energized. Nevertheless, a problem is posed. When taking
up this habit, I am looked down on. The staff tell me to be irresponsible and
selfish because I negatively affect companys image. I feel so disappointed
and less confident. Consequently, I am trying to form a new habit. That is
going to bed before 11 pm in order that I have enough time to sleep and have
a full of energy for the next day although I find it so difficult for me to
implement that latter habit.
2> Describe an apartment:
I would like to describe you an apartment I dream about. It is ideally-located
in the centre of the city and has easy access to it. In addition, this apartment
is surrounded by green belt and environment-friendly. Besides, the interior
of the apartment is equipped with cutting-edge technology including an
automatic elevator, a robot doing household chores, a remote sensing
television, a big refrigerator full of food and the like which are modern
looking and luxurious. Furthermore, I will have 3 children in the future so I
wish my apartment to be spacious in order that there is enough space for
them to play games and studying. After assiduous days at work, I come back
home and I hope the apartment can give me a feeling of serenity. As a result,
this apartment is near a river with romantic sight-seeing. Imagine that you
and your husband look at river views, hugging and saying sweet words to
each other. That sounds great

I would like to describe you a speech that made a great impression on me. It
was a speech of the first president of Viet Nam, Ho Chi Minh. That speech
was made in the declaration of independence of Viet Nam on the morning of
the 2nd September 1945. In that speech, Ho Chi Minh president said: All
men are created equal. They are endowed by their creators with certain

inalienable rights, among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Furthermore, his speech motivated and inspired people against all odds to
defeat foreign invaders. That speech was spoken from the heart of the
president and was ended with applause from millions of Vietnamese People
who burst into tears when hearing it. The speech revealed a meaningful
content and it suddenly dawns on me that I need to nurture the patriotism
and pride of nation to contribute to protecting my country from other
aggressive countries.
4> Describe a song:
I would like to describe you a song that makes a great impression on me. It
is a Vietnamese national anthem composed by a famous musician. This song
was first sung by millions of people from different walks of life in 1976
when the assembly of Vietnam was officially united. The sing revealed a
meaningful content and had a very great value at the same time. It motivated
and inspired peoples patriotism and pride of nation to protect their country
from foreign invaders. Moreover, the song encouraged poor people to get
out of poverty and illiteracy; and try their best to rebuild and keep the
country into a prosperous and civilized one. This song was made from the
heart of the creator and was ended with applause and tears. This song is also
forever embedded in my mind because of its meaning which exists up to
now. I desire to become such a well-known musician in the future and
compose songs with a great significance
5> Describe a sport:
I take up some sports. However, one of the most favorite sports is football.
Football has a set of simple rules. A football match is a competition among
two teams which try their best to kick a ball with their foot into the
opponents net to score a goal. Which team defeats the rest in the score is a
winner. Thanks to playing this game, I can strengthen my physical health
and build up muscle. No sooner do I stick to this game than I can also
practice patience, assiduity, creativity, coordination and concentration.
Furthermore, with the first prize won, I can glorify national image and gain
billions of dollars and admiration from millions of people. I hope one day, I
will become the most outstanding player in the world.
6> Describe unforgettable memory

One of the most unforgettable memories was doing a charity in a province in

the north of Vietnam. You know, the life there was very poor and backward.
People had little fresh water to use due to polluted rivers nearby. Moreover,
most people were illiterate, lacked knowledge and experience. They bore a
lot of babies but hardly know how to teach them. In some areas, inhabitants
didnt have enough food and clothes to eat and wear. It seems to me that I
could feel how painful they were. When I came there with some other
members of volunteer organizations, I was responsible for cooking meals,
teaching children and guiding them to change their life for the better. Thanks
to doing a charity, I felt a sense of happiness and self-satisfaction and found
life more meaningful. Furthermore, I was also exposed to people from
different walks of lif, enlightened my understanding about society and
enlarged networks of relationship. In general, I hope that one day, I can have
ability to help all poor people in the world lead a better life

There are various well-known paintings in the world. However, one of the
most impressive is the last leave painting. The story behind this painting is
mysterious. It told about an older painter and two young girls in a
guesthouse. Unfortunately, a girl suffered a serious disease and she was so
disappointed about her life. She thought that no sooner did the last leave fall
down than she died. As a result, this worried an older man. Afterwards, that
man standing in a heavy rain tried his best, put all heart and soul into every
detail to finish his work. That was a painting of a leave which was like the
real one and could hardy fell down. That work aroused in the girl deeper
understanding about life, motivated and inspired her to desire for the love of
life. For nearly a past century, this work retains a priceless value. It enhances
our creativity and imagination. Moreover, it conveys a humanity message:
art for art sake, art for human sake. I hope, in the future, I will become the
most reputable painter around the world to give birth to such a masterpiece.
8> Describe a celebration:
There are various celebrations in a year. One of the occasions that makes a
great impression on me is the Independence Day of Vietnam. This
celebration is annually organized in Ba Dinh square, Ha Noi on the 2 nd
September. This is a chance of reunion. On this day, people from different
walks of life stand in front of HCM mausoleum, wave flags and sing

national anthem. This event provides people opportunities to look back on

the history, show gratitude for bloody sacrifice of the predecessors and
makes them aware of the significance of the Independence. Moreover,
holding this celebration nurtures, motivates and inspires peoples patriotism.
Besides, this is an occasion for citizens to relax after assiduous days at work.
Social studies have shown that people buy more in this day, promoting
consumerism which brings more profit for companies and governments. In
general, I desire to devote my life to protecting my country and keeping it
independent forever

There are various exams. However, one of the most impressive, rigorous is
Ielts test exam. This exam lasts 3 hours with 4 tests about reading, writing,
listening and speaking skills. In this exam, candidates are put under high
pressure and have to concentrate physically and mentally to complete all 4
tests in time. I believe that writing is the most difficult test because it
requires an astronomical capacity of vocabularies and grammars. Similarly,
speaking is the second most challenging skill which needs logical content,
fluency, body language, eye contact, especially pronunciation to be good.
Meanwhile, I think the remaining skills are easily achieved high marks by
regular practice. Thanks to this examination, I can foster concentration,

determination, assiduity and problem solving. I hope I can reach ielts 7 in

this exam.

impressive and appealing is Miss World. This is a rigorous and reputable
beauty contest. In this contest, beautiful girls from all walks of the life who
are not married fiercely compete to each other for the acknowledgement of
Miss World. Before the competition takes place, candidates undergo much
training from singing, dancing, playing instruments, drawing to catwalk.
During this contest, participants show all talents to prove their own ability.
Only the five most excellent girls are chosen for the final round which is
called Miss Conduct. This is a very significant round evaluating whether
candidates deserve as Miss World or not. I think that by dint of taking part in
this competition, participants can practice concentration, patience,
determination and assiduity. I hope one day, I can become Miss in my own

Unlike mosquitoes, fliers, cockroaches, bees are positive animals because
they play a crucial role in pollination process. Bees have a special vision. We
see color like a pattern and their vision can extend into ultra-violet spectrum
which humans can never see. Besides, bees have unique olfactory system so
they choose flowers that look like a target and have pleasant smell to

pollinate. In addition, bees are so intelligent that they can remember exactly
the location of their target flowers or communicate with others to inform
pollination areas. Afterwards, bees take nectars from flowers to make honey.
In conclusion, in some respects, I admire bees in terms of their memory,
vision and olfactory system.

and deadliest was the earthquake striking Japan in 2011. Japan is a country
well known for volcano eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes. This disaster
caused both Japanese government and citizens severe losses. Thousands of
people were killed and became homeless and penniless. After this
earthquake took place, this countrys government faced a series of problems
such as epidemics, hunger, poverty, economic and political crisis. However,
thanks to this disaster, the whole world could have opportunities to see the
remarkable perseverance of Japanese. Albeit standing on the verge of
desperation, they were still assiduous, determined and ambitious to
overcome difficulties and recover their country from this disaster. Besides,
Japan received a lot of mental and physical support from the international
communities around the world. This strengthened the relationship among
nations

I have undergone various nightmares. However, one of the most terrible and
haunting was last nights nightmare. In the dream, my boyfriend and I were
going shopping to prepare for our coming wedding, smiling together
happily. Suddenly, a strange man rushed into us and thrust my love with
dagger to rob his wallet. At that time, it seemed as if I were at the bottom of
pain and desperation. I also realized that he played an indispensible role in
my life and I could hardly live without him. Nevertheless, everything was
late and he died. I became uncontrollable, screamed in the rain, and then I
woke up with tears in my face. It turned out to be a dream and I felt a sense
of luckiness and happiness because my love still lied next to me. Thanks to

this nightmare, I understand how much I love my boyfriend and I will never
lose him

staff, his bank went into liquidation and my uncle put an end to his life. I
