Labs
- There will be 6 lab sessions for Solidworks, FEA and other design tools.
- The first lab session will start in the week 3.
- Will be held at WEEF Lab (E2-1310) and Multimedia Lab (CPH 1346) in groups of ~ 40 students.
- Schedules and group assignments will be announced later this week.
- Credit/no credit basis (the attendance and the completion of each task).
Desired Learning Outcomes
1. Understanding the basic principles of electromechanical machine design.
2. To be able to use analytical methods in designing components of machines.
3. Understanding different types of electric drives and their usages in operating machines.
4. To become familiar with specifications of different machine elements and their usages.
