d. A sample lesson plan for one of the two groups: children/young learners or teens/adults.
(You are welcome to review samples for both levels, but you will be able to submit only one
lesson plan for grading.) These are models for you to follow in writing your own lesson plan:

e. Submission: Once your lesson plan is ready, submit it on the Lesson Plan Phase 1
submission page (upload in the required format, using the >Attach button, or copy and
paste): https://class.coursera.org/shaping2paths002/human_grading/view/courses/1/assessments/3/submissions
You can revise and resubmit your lesson plan until the deadline. (The >Lesson Plan
Project link is available from any page in the left sidebar under COMMUNITY.) Your peer
reviewers will see only your final submission. Do not wait until the deadline to submit, as
Coursera will not able to handle the load.
See the Lesson Plan Phase 1 Submission Guide at
https://class.coursera.org/shaping2paths-002/wiki/lesson_plan_phase1_submission_guide
for a step-by-step description of how to submit your lesson plan.
Remember: You can upload only a .txt or .pdf document. You can copy and paste a
plain text document, but you will lose all formatting that way. You can revise and
resubmit your lesson plan until the deadline. You can access the submission page
through the >Lesson Plan Project link from any page in the left sidebar under
COMMUNITY.
Your lesson plan must include the two elements from the course: Integrated skills and
alternative assessment.
----> The deadline for uploading your lesson plan is 11:59 pm Pacific time on Monday,
February 23 (beginning of Week 3). You will not be able to submit anything after that time.
DO NOT wait until the last minute to submit your work! Coursera will not be able to handle the
traffic. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Note: You will not be able to view or submit peer evaluations until after the lesson plan
submission deadline, and then only if you have submitted a lesson plan before that
deadline. If you don't see the Peer Evaluation button activated, and you have
successfully submitted a Lesson Plan, check back again in a few hours before asking for
help.
You are welcome to do more than the minimum number of peer evaluations; this is helpful for
others.
It's a good idea to do your peer evaluations early, so that you have more time for your selfevaluation. You will receive your peer evaluations from others after the self-evaluation deadline
has passed.
