Welcome
On behalf of Ontario Centres of Excellence, I would like to
welcome you to the Financial Innovation Collaboration Forum.
We are delighted to be hosting this gathering, along with the
Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA), to bring together
select representatives from Ontarios financial institutions, leading
researchers from our colleges and universities, and technology
companies and start-ups interested in innovation in the financial
sector.
This presents an excellent opportunity to begin identifying and
building the working partnerships that can lead to made-inOntario solutions for addressing both individual business needs
and industry-wide challenges.
Todays event is in keeping with the objectives of our recently
formed partnership with TFSA to bring exciting new collaborative
innovation projects to Toronto one of North Americas largest
financial service clusters, second only to New York City.
I hope you find this session to be both informative and
stimulating.
Thank you for your participation.
