CHAPTER 5

SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

Summary
The researchers gathered data from survey questionnaire of the
high school students, batch 2014-2015. Having a total number of eighty
respondents per each section respectively.

The researchers had a pre-survey and used the five qualities that
the respondents choose as basis for determining the ideal quality of an
educator that helps high school students in picking their preferred teaching
strategy of the teachers of the high school department of Dominican
College of Sta. Rosa. Those Qualities will help the students picking their
preferred teaching strategy.

The researchers made use of descriptive survey to gather data from


the high school students. The respondents for each section were asked to
answer the survey. The researchers used a dichotomous type of
questionnaire for effective results of the study.

After the survey, the researchers organized the data through manual
tally. For the statistical treatment, the percentage type was used.
Quantitative data processing makes the research end at an accurate
scientific approach. Tables were used to present the data.

FINDING
Through the results of the survey, the researchers were able to find
out the most preferred teaching strategy of the high school students by the

high school teachers of Dominican College of Sta. Rosa Laguna.


Multimedia ranked first among the five teaching strategies. Discussion has
the least percentage in the gathered data. (survey)
CONCLUSION
The researchers studied what is the most preferred teaching
strategy of the high school students by the high school teachers of
Dominican College of Santa Rosa and the researchers argued about what
teaching strategy would be the most useful in teaching high school
students.
The researchers conducted a survey in eighty high school students
in order to find the answer to our study. The researchers found out that the
most preferred teaching strategy is conducting a Group Activity during
class hours.
The researchers found out that group activities is the most preferred
teaching strategy of the high school teachers by the high school students
of Dominican College of Santa Rosa.
This means that students excel through a group activity type of teaching
strategy for it promotes team work and cooperation

RECOMMENDATION
There are many possible teaching strategies that may support the
student's excellence. Since group activities ranked first, researchers come
up with these following recommendations:
It is recommended that students must show initiative and willingness to
study their lessons based on their preferred teaching strategy of their
educators for a fruitful achievement.
Parents are recommended to help and guide their children at
home to continue their unfinished task at school. Parents shall continue to
sustain the needs of their children based on their most preferred teaching
strategy.
The teachers must guide the students by following their most
preferred teaching strategy. The administration shall supervise the faculty
through a seminar all about their way of teaching based on the students
preference and interest.

Lastly, the researchers therefore recommend that future studies


can be conducted on this topic to verify, validate, prove or disapprove the
data compiled by the study.
Hence, this study remains open for further investigation.
