Dear Sir/Madame,

In the process of completing my studies of International Economic Relationship at the University of

ASE, Romania, I am writing to apply for a scholarship in Germany. Currently I am completing my
bachelor degree and I will graduate in 2013.

During the past years at university I gained a great theoretical insight into both, business administration
and information technology. The courses, I attended, are of a wide variety: Finance, Accounting,
Management, Marketing, Data Bases. Besides my studies I had the chance to apply parts of my
theoretical knowledge while working in different project teams. As an enthusiastic member of the
Entrance on the employment market through the simulated companies project I learned how important
is the practical approach. As I am a very communicative person with the ability to tune very quickly into
new problems my aim is to learn practical things in an international environment. At this, having
international experience is crucial for getting a start. Therefore I am searching for an opportunity to
discover a business culture while additionally enhancing my knowledge and getting some practical
experience, fitting to my further career.

Business administration is a field that has always fascinated me and I believe that this Master program
will contribute to the evolution of my career as it suits perfectly with my future goals. Thats why I
decided to stick to this area and I chose 3 Master programs: Accounting and controlling, International

Business & Consulting: International Strategic Management and International finance. The
reasons for choosing these particular tree programs rely on the facts that they are taught in
English, the University is very well known, the application deadlines are convenient and I meet
all the admission criteria. Moreover, I can state that I need a bachelor's or equivalent degree,
excellent English skills equivalent at least to B2 on the CERF (Common European Reference
Framework) and specifically evidence of having completed undergraduate courses in the
economic field.

The programs that I chose have very interesting studying subjects, with a wide range of courses such as:
Advanced Financial Accounting, International Auditing, Business Process Management, International
Corporate Finance and International Project Management. This post-graduate program takes an
international approach to combining theory and practice in providing broad business administration skills
focused on international financial standards, controlling and international investments. It builds on the

knowledge gained during undergraduate studies, sustainably expands skills and provides opportunities to
independently develop creative solutions. The programs provide the skills needed to analysis and identify
goal-oriented operative and strategic measures and implement them in new and diverse settings. The
individual modules are interactively structured, which not only encourages presentation skills, but also
integrates the wealth of experience and insights into the mastering of complex issues. These facts
emphasize the fact that the program is typical for a German institution, which is very appealing to me,
due to the fact that I consider the German development a great example of the effect of determination,
hard work and efficiency, factors that definitely highlight the program among others and make the
learning process much more interesting.

I feel very motivated for obtaining this scholarship and I believe my strong academic background
in Germany combined with my studying experience from Romania will fulfill the requirements
of the employers. In the future, after graduating the master program, I plan to apply the
knowledge gained in a professional way, within a corporation. Studying in Germany will further
strengthen my ability and flexibility to adapt and deal with other cultures. Additionally, living in this
country will facilitate my future integration into any organization and permit an easier communication as
well as give me the confidence to work with people of diverse backgrounds. The more international
exposure I have forces me to look at situations from different perspectives with an objective and unbiased
point of view and this will help me be a successful professional in this global economy.

I believe that a background in International Economic Relations and a strong motivation to pursue an
international carrier in the field of business administration make me a strong candidate for your Master
Program. I am looking forward to the opportunity to study at HWR Berlin, immerse myself in my studies
and the German culture and language thereby increasing my cultural awareness. My time spent in
Germany will bring transformations in all aspects of my life that will assist me in attaining my academic,
personal and career goals in the global arena.
Thank you very much for your time and considering my request.

Yours faithfully,
Luca Enaida
