Career Summary
Motivated, driven, dynamic and resourceful Solutions Architect who works in a across multiple disciplines
and is focused on developing, designing and delivering highly complex, multi-faceted solutions, SAP
application development, network and data security, mobility and grid communications strategy, ICT
infrastructure frameworks and highly redundant technical designs, best practice solutions architecture
processes and solutions to ensure every element of technology is comprehensively covered for business
solutions.
At SP AusNet I worked on various projects providing extensive and varied application and infrastructure
development projects delivering highly technical expertise in detailing and defining highly technical
solutions and designs for GIS and Mobile Grid Solution Architecture for Smart Meters (connecting 800,000
homes and businesses) and implementation of interfaced ERP SAP solutions and backend communication
network solutions, program capability to manage the Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA),
Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and HSM (High Speed Monitoring) and Oracle ERP migration
As the KENO gaming and Point of Sale Infrastructure Solutions Architect for TABCORP, I delivered a detailed
and complex Mobility Strategy and Infrastructure solution design document and technical implementation
for Victoria and Queensland, including 3G and 4G Mobile and local wireless interfaces, local server
infrastructure, network integration and video display for 4000 touchscreens, 9,000 dual TV displays, 1000
Pont of Sale devices, digital signage solutions and integrated gaming systems network server
infrastructure. Keno is currently generating $2 Billion in turnover per annum and is Australia wide.
As the senior Infrastructure solutions architect for Virgin Airlines I delivered a complex infrastructure and
network architecture solution for 2000 touch terminals in all Australian terminals with direct interface into
departure boards and Sabre booking system. Also developed a cloud based mobile interface for Sabre
booking system for wholesale customers (tablets, smartphones). Designed the technical solution for airline
terminal information screens for 12 major airports.
As the key Solutions Architect for Emergency Services Victoria (000) I was directly responsible for all
solution design activities for the ESTA WFM Infrastructure for operations control room (mobile and Radio
dispatch) and Systems Design (Aspect Workforce Management System) and integration into CAD
(Computer Aided Dispatch) sitting across business operations and technology streams.
I am a champion of best practice Data and ICT Systems Security Architecture design including
methodologies like SABSA, ISO 27001 and Standard of Good Practice for Information Security and using
tools like Splunk for Enterprise Security developing and delivering security intelligence platforms that
address SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) with real-time dashboards, reports, incident
response workflows, analytics and correlations. For example at NSW Education and did a considerable
amount of work with security architecture and data surveillance (including cloud solutions) using tools like
Splunk and Tableau. The critical thing about my success in this space has been to ensure that the right
data is identified that contains the information that is needed for queries as the machine data generated
by some systems might not have the specific detail required for streaming surveillance operations
