1. INTRODUCTION
This document lists the requirements of materials, construction processes and quality
manpower to be met during the work execution architecture works corresponding to the
areas involved in the project DETAIL ENGINEERING SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT TRAT. SEWAGE WASTEWATER - CERRO VERDE PRODUCTION UNIT EXPANSION.
2. REFERENCES
The following standards of the National Building Regulations (NBR) are part of this
specification:
ASCE: American Society of Civil Engineers.
ICC: International Code Council International Building Code (IBC), edition 2006.
OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration
In case of divergence between project documents, drawings take precedence over technical
specifications.
The quantity take-off is referential and complementary, partial or total failure of items
provided in the drawings and / or technical specifications are non-exempt the contractor
from the execution.
3. ITEMS
3.1. Metallic Panels for Roof Coverage; GL Calaminon or TR-4 Precor type,
accessories included.
3.1.1. Scope
This item involves the amount of metal panels for roof cover with their respective
accessories needed for assembly.
The roof coverage type calaminon GL or TR-4 Precor are aluminized steel sheet
metal prepainted, good drainage capacity, with a thickness of 0.5 mm, depth of
40 mm and useful width of 960 mm.
Roof coverage accesories like: borders, ridge, etc.; will be smooth aluminized
steel sheets prepainted 0.5 mm thick, bent according to plans.
To store the metal panels calaminon GL or Precor TR-4 type, take them under a
roof or cover them with an impermeable sheet (leaving a space between the
cover and the plates to permit the flow of air). If water had contact with the plates,
the pile of sheets must be redone before 24 hours, drying one by one.
3.1.2. Measurement Unit
Metal panels for roof cover will be measured per square meter (m2).

or TR-4 Precor type, accessories included
3.2.1. Scope
This item involves the installation of metal panels for roof coverage with their
respective accessories needed.

Reasonable care should be taken when handling sheet metal to avoid damaging
the edges and surfaces. We recommend placing them on wooden battens to
keep them away of humidity and preferably in a inclined plane to prevent
stagnation of water in them.
Roof coverage metal panels should be lifted with " nylon ropes and installed
from the bottom to the higher of the slope, considering the overlap between
junctions left, which in this case must be 200 mm. Use butyl tape (for overlap)
and self-tapping bolts, which are indicated on the drawings and shall be resistant
to corrosion. The cuts will be made with scissors or cutting disk. After installation,
the metal cover should be carefully cleaned.
To install metal panels, the area should be marked and there should be favorable
weather wind and rain.
3.2.2. Measurement units
The installation and assembly of Metal panels for roof cover will be measured per
square meter (m2).
3.3. Metallic Panels for Wall Enclosure; GL Calaminon or TR-4 Precor type,
accessories included.
3.3.1. Scope
This item involves the amount of metal panels for wall enclosure with their
respective accessories needed for assembly.
The Wall enclosure type calaminon GL or TR-4 Precor are aluminized steel sheet
metal prepainted, good drainage capacity, with a thickness of 0.5 mm, depth of

accessories included.
3.5.1. Scope
This item involves the amount of translucent panels for roof coverage with their
respective accessories needed for assembly that where supplied at work site.
Translucent Panels for Roof Coverage are White diffusser polycarbonate sheets
with a transparency of 85%, allowing the entry of light exempt UV. These plates,
with good drainage capacity, have a peralte of 40 mm and 960 mm of useful
width.
To store translucent panels calaminon GL or Precor TR-4 type, take them under
a roof or cover them with an impermeable sheet (leaving a space between the
cover and the plates to permit the flow of air). If water had contact with the plates,
the pile of sheets must be redone before 24 hours, drying one by one.

3.6.2. Mesurement Unints
The installation and assembly of translucent panels for wall enclosure will be
measured per square meter (m2).
3.7. Supplied and assembly of metal gutter.
3.7.1. Scope
This item involves the quantity and the installation of metal gutters with
accessories (clamps, self-tapping bolts, etc.), To be used for storm-water
drainage, collecting rainwater and leading to the downspout pipes.
Gutters will be made by prepainted flat plates of aluminized steel (Aluzinc) 0.5mm
thick, U-shaped bend. The gutters will be fixed with self-tapping bolts and
secured with metal braces every 1m.
3.7.2. Measurement units
Supply and installation of gutter shall be measured per linear meter (m).
3.8. Supply and Installation of Rainwater Pipe
3.8.1. Scope
It is understood as the supplied and installation (stroke and staking, hydraulic
testing, and additional work) 4 Pipe PVC-SAP (according to technical
standards) with accessories and / or additions necessary (elbows, low wall of
concrete, etc.) designed to receive stormwater discharges from aluminized steel
gutters and attached to the roofs modules designed to collect rainwater. The pipe
shall be attached to the wall with galvanized iron clamps separate each
approximately 1.5m.
3.8.2. Measurement units
Suplied and installation of reinwawter pipe shall be measured per linear meter
(m).
