Lesson Aims:
* raising expectations and creating involvement in a speaking task;
* allowing Ss to express ideas on a given topic;
* developing speaking skills and fostering fluency;
* developing writing skills;
* preparing Ss for the Oral Examination for the English language at the BAC exam;
* increasing Ss confidence in their own abilities;
* helping Ss to get the best marks they can at the BAC exam.
Activity 1. Warming up
Aim: Reminding Ss tips for doing well at BAC exam.

Procedure:
* T asks Ss to pay attention to the tips written on the whiteboard referring to how to
prepare for a foreign language oral exam. Ss will read the tips and translate them into
Romanian.
** Try to relax!
** Practice, practice, practice!
** Be confident!
** Expect the unexpected.
** Read the questions carefully.
** Speak! Say as much as you possible can.

*Each ST receives a model subject for BAC Listening Exam in the English language. T
points out that the words in the answers for the first text will be heard on the
recording whilst the words in the answers for the second text are not usually heard
on the recording; they are expected to listen for synonyms and parallel expressions in
order to get the correct answer.
* T allows students a few minutes to read through the questions and underline the
key words
* T plays the recording
*T checks how Ss solved the listening Bac subject, comparing answers and explaining
why they chose them.
Activity 3: Reading
Aim: to introduce and practice a procedure for BAC Reading Exam
Procedure:

*Each ST receives a model subject for BAC Writing Exam. T allows students a few
minutes to skim through the text and get the main idea then names one two
students to read the first text aloud.
*Ss have 2 minutes to answer the questions.
* T checks how Ss solved the subject.
* Ss read in turns the second text.
*Ss have 2 minutes to answer the questions.
* T checks how Ss solved the subject.
Activity 4: Writing
Aim: to practice a procedure for BAC Writing Exam

*Ss read in turns the letters and the essays they have written
*T corrects eventual mistakes and marks the best essays
Activity 6. Speaking
Aim: improving Ss ability to write on a subject they have to speak about.

Procedure:
* Each ST receives a model subject for BAC Oral Exam in the English language, and a
rough copy to write on. T tells Ss that they have 20 min. to finish writing their ideas
on the topic they have to speak on.
* T helps when necessary.
* T checks how Ss solved their last BAC subject in their notebooks.
Activity 7. Speaking
Aim: practising for the BAC oral exam.
T ST; ST-T; 18 min *
Procedure:
T asks Ss to take turns in presenting answers to their questions.
* Ss present their answers.
* T asks Ss some questions on the topics.
* T helps when necessary.
