Volumen:
El volumen es el espacio que ocupan los cuerpos. Los
cuerpos geomtricos existen en el espacio y son por lo tanto
objetos que tienen tres dimensiones (ancho, alto y largo)
limitados por una o ms superficies.
En el clculo integral el volumen es el espacio ocupado por
un slido al hacer girar una figura plana alrededor de un eje
y su formula en trminos de integrales es

Solido de revolucin:
Los slidos de revolucin son slidos que se generan al girar
una regin plana alrededor de un eje. Por ejemplo: el cono
es un slido que resulta al girar un tringulo recto alrededor
de uno de sus catetos, el cilindro surge al girar un
rectngulo alrededor de uno de sus lados
