ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
1. All application requirements for graduate admission should be received on or before the set deadline
of the College. The College of Home Economics accepts application to graduate programs every first
and second semester.
2. Please request for specific requirements from Window 4 for the program to which you are seeking
admission.
3. Upon submission of the application, you will be notified as to when and where your examination/and or
an interview is scheduled.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
1. A formal letter of application stating his/her purpose addressed to the Dean of the College
2. Official Transcript of Record (OTR) for both undergraduate and graduate degree, if any (one original
and two duplicate copies). Attach a Marriage Contract and/or affidavit if OTR submitted has different
name. The University does not accept OTRs with the following notations: FOR EMPLOYMENT
PURPOSES, FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES, FOR REFERENCE, NOT VALID FOR TRANSFER,
INFORMATIVE COPY, FOR STUDENT COPY, ETC.
3. Graduate Admission Fee:

Foreigners $ 25.00

4. References from former professors and/or employers. (A standard reference form of the College
should be used for this purpose).
5. Entrance examination and interview.
6. 2 x 2 ID pictures (2 copies) recent photo
7. Birth Certificate (NSO certified**) original and 2 photocopies (for Filipino**)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS
1. A Certified True Copy of the English translation of the diploma with the seal of the University and the
signature in INK of the Registrar.
2. For applicant whose medium of instruction is English - a certification from the school that English is
their medium of instruction.
For applicant whose medium of instruction is not English - TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign
Language) Examination Results. Minimum score of 500.
NOTE: Application form should be submitted one (1) year ahead for purposes of processing the Student Visa
and Study Permit.
Accomplish the attached application form for admission (2 copies) and submit the same with the necessary
attachments.
