CEO Letter

to the Youth
of Jordan

To the radiant promising youth of

beloved Hashemite Kingdom of
Jordan, Greetings from Zain Jordan,
Today, we are standing upon the
verge of a new year, as we are proud
of our achievements that have been
accomplished throughout the past
period, while feeling ambitious about
the future endeavors that shall be
achieved by virtue of your continuous
efforts and loyalty towards Zain
Jordan, as you resemble the radiance
that shines upon our this ever-growing
institution.
We started our journey with you in
2005, with an ambitious idea that
aimed at creating an interactive link
between Zain and Jordanian youth
through tailoring training programs,
in addition to enhancing youth
leadership skills, and to developing
talents and preparing them during
their undergraduate years, in order
to enter the labor market completely
prepared.
The initiative started with 20 students
from various Jordanian public and
private universities, where the great
success of the initiative led us to
establish Zain AlShabab program,
according to the vision that reflects
Zains strategy to focus on Youth
development in the hope that it will
have the desirable impact on the

community in the future. The initiative

aims to build a generation of young
leaders from various universities,
where they add value to their
communities. Today, Zain AlShabab
program comprises 148 members
from different governorates across the
Kingdom.
It has been nine years since the
foundation of this initiative, during
which, we worked with a group of
ambitious spirited Jordanian youth,
who want to make a difference on a
personal and a local level. We at Zain
have provided the youth with series
of interactive training activities which
have contributed in refining their skills
and promoting their entrepreneurial
spirit. In return, they extended to Zain
further positive energy, in addition to
a variety of creative and innovative
ideas, not to mention their support to
the different departments within Zain
Jordan.
Finally, our faith in your capabilities
is inexhaustible and our confidence
in your abilities is limitless, hence we
promise you through this platform
that we will spare no effort to continue
our march towards supporting Youth,
as we perceive you as the leaders
of tomorrow and the source of the
strength and pride of our beloved
Jordan.

Zain
Al Shabab
team in 2014

Our youth program was established

back in May 2005, where we started
as Fastlink University Network
with 20 members from different
universities around Amman Jordan.
Their main goal was to raise
awareness about the products that
Fastlink has offered, and increase
Sales among the youth segment.
During the rebranding to Zain in
2007, it became known as Future
University Network, where the
team took a considerable part in
covering the promotional campaigns
and events within the organization.
In 2013, we rebranded as Zain Al
Shabab program to become the
umbrella of all youth working or
having an internship opportunity
within Zain Jordan.

Since then, our direction has taken

a shift to empowering the Youth of
Jordan, were we believe that every
young individual has the capabilities
to unleash their creativity and utilize
it in an encouraging environment,
where-by they are contributing with
their full potential positively to the
Jordanian community and having the
opportunity to develop skills that will
last a life time.
Zain Al Shabab program has
benefited over 800 students
across Jordan till today.

Master Minds

Work hard in silence, let success make the

noise.
We organize several activities to increase
awareness about the importance of
community service; we make sure that at
least two members of our team participate
in events held for community service within
Zain Al Shabab. A very proud moment for us
was when we were selected as Team of the
Month. Since then, we have created several
projects that had an impact on our team
spirit, and on our achievements in 2014.

Zain AlShabab, we meet to live up

One of the activities that left us with an
unforgettable mark in our hearts was when
we visited the youngsters of King Hussien
Cancer Center in the hope of making small
contributions to the ones who need it.

The Gladiators
Anyone can be trained to be a gladiator,
what marks you out is having the mindset
of a CHAMPION!!!
With excellent team work and good spirit,
we achieved what a year ago seemed
impossible. Major cornerstones were put
in order to reach this level of competence
that we believe made us not only a better
working team, but also incredibly better
individuals.

Striving toward a better Future

We were honored for receiving the sales best
achiever award which we got by extremely
hard and honest work. The process of getting
this award enriched us in every aspect we can
imagine such as team spirit, coherence in the
work we do and most important of all love
between our team members.

.
A sign of gratitude was given to all of our
members in a form of thank you cards
as an award, for their beautiful work and
achievements throughout the program. This
small act will make us thrive to reach our
goals and objectives in Zain Al Shabab and
in life.

Al Asayel
Zain Al Shabab is a symbol of originality and tradition it makes us proud to be part of it.
Marketing field grabbed our attention so we decided to look over in our beloved company
Zain for something of that interest. Therefore, we managed to have some members of our own
working on the FTTH project in collaboration with the marketing department, which helped all of
the team develop their understanding a bit further in the marketing concept.

Dream Team

Al Team Al Qawi

A Youthful experience beyond dreams

obstacles, that might emerge in the really
crowded job market after graduation.
Members of our team contributed in almost
every activity that took place in Zain, which
was a thrilling experience that added a
big something to every single one of the
members in every aspect whether in life or
in the professional line of work.

Zain Al Shabab is a place where we are

able to set free our thoughts and ideas.
Drawing a smile on the faces of little
children is what made us put together a
visit to Queen Rania Children Hospital
and enjoying a day with the little ones. We
believe that good deeds never end, thats
why we always want to show the best in all
of us and embrace the fact that all people
have good in them you just have to dig a
little bit deeper.

it does. We make sure that work will
leave an impressionable fingerprint on
our community by carrying out a variety
of different activities throughout the

such as CSR, Training, Capacity Building
