The latest developments regarding the SPEKTROTHERM lamp technology are

lamps with variable UV-C output. These lamps not only have an enhanced UV-C
output but also allow the continuous variation of the lamp output from 50
100%.
With these lamps the advanced WEDECO Dose Pacing control philosophy can
be applied to the system resulting in optimized energy consumption and
extended lamp life.

Each lamp sleeve is kept clean by several wiper rings; the UV sensor window is
kept clean by brushes. The electrical motor and its electronic controls are the
main components of this external actuator unit. Wiping intervals per hour are
adjustable directly at the unit.
