Sandy Johnson sat down with Barb Rosewicz, a research director in Pews state fiscal health project, and Anne Stauffer,
the director of Pews work on fiscal federalism for a webinar on Covering the Budget.
One of the things that really slows down the reporting process at work is spending
the time finding the right people to interview, and then lining up those meetings.
So having such an impressive lineup of speakers ready to go was incredible. I really
appreciated getting the opportunity to meet with so many experts in such a wide
range of fields.
-Andrea Chang, LA Times
Being with a diverse, multi-media group of reporters was
energizing, and the speakers provided me with valuable sources,
and story ideas, and context. I hope this important program can
continue.
-Marie McCullough, The Philadelphia Inquirer
I really dont see how any serious journalist who covers energy, health care, business, foreign
affairs, politics, education, technology, financial markets or environmental issues could turn
down the opportunity to visit China and interact with entrepreneurs and thought leaders
there. Whatever your beat, you wont forget this fellowship.
