USEREADY ONE ADMINISTRATOR GUIDE

1. Welcome to USEReady ONE

USEReady ONE is a BI Governance Platform built to drive user adoption, enhance
user control, manage infrastructure, regulate department chargeback and
eliminate user confusion.
The Governance platform installs on any machine in the farm that has access to
the Agile BI platforms (Tableau, Alteryx etc.) and the Tableau executable
(tabcmd.exe) installed. The platform integrates seamlessly into Tableau Server

and allows administrators to configure migrations, alerts and detailed usage &
audit reports on the infrastructure.
On Successful installation of USEReady ONE we now see a Governance section
with a USEReady ONE selection created in Tableau Server maintenance page:

Status

Status page is a summary of various modules

displayed as tiles. This page serves as home
page for the entire application. Each tile on
the status screen is clickable. Upon clicking
any of the tiles, users are navigated to
appropriate configurations.

How to Navigate?
Click on the Status tab on
the left navigation bar to
view the current status of
all configured features.

As various labeled features are configured, each label will become green, yellow

or red depending on its status. Green means configured. Yellow means there is

a configuration error and Red means not the feature is not configured at all.
Selecting any label will take you to the configuration screen for that feature1

The features shown with red tags will be implemented in the next release.

directories to manage users and groups of users. USEReady ONE

connects to various directory services such as Windows Active
Directory, LDAP. USEReady ONE also supports importing users from
custom authentication modules for user security. The Directory
feature allows administrators to define directory services providers
(Active Directory, LDAP or file-based) that USEReady ONE will use for
synchronization of users, groups and folders on target Tableau
Servers under management.
