73 attended morning worship last week.
We had an attendance of 68 for the Valentine's Pot Luck last
week. Food was greatly enjoyed as was the entertainment by
Jaimi Nelson.
The Romanian Missionaries we sponsor will be here
Wednesday, February 25. We will be having soup and
sandwiches at 6:00 p.m. Followed by a presentation by our
guests at 7:00 p.m.
There will be a wedding shower for Garrett Thrasher and Juli
Cook on Sat. March 7, 2015 at 2:00. It will be held at the
MACON Floral Hall at Macon County Park. They are registered
at Walmart, Target, and Ben Franklin. Everyone is welcome to
come join us. Their wedding will be April 25, 2015
CCCB Men's Day & Banquet is coming up Thursday, March 12.
See details on the foyer bulletin board. I printed a few extras if
any of you men would like to take a copy.
Women's council is collecting supplies for Safehouse of
Kirksville this month. A wish list of needs is on the foyer
bulletin board. (Copies available upon request)
Safehouse is a safe shelter established by Victim Support
Services, Inc. to protect and provide council (24 hours a day),
primarily to women who fall victim of domestic and sexual
violence. (Suggested stay is 30 days.)
For anyone interested I have voice recordings of a number of
Daniel's sermons. As well as recordings of a number of church
specials. To be honest, the quality suffers some due to the size
of the device, but the recordings are still entertainable -Ed
