Teachers Activity
The teacher will read a text. Afterwards, let
the students fill in the blanks to complete the
text from the choices given.
No Teacher for Today!
Yesterday, Jenny arrived at school early.
Their class arranged the chairs and cleaned
the tables. Then they waited for their teacher
to come. But after 1 hour, their teacher did not
come! The principal talked to them and said
their teacher was sick. So Jenny and her
classmates studied their lessons inside the
room the whole day.

containing the pattern to be studied in
forming the past tense of regular verbs

The students will listen and may copy the
Grammar Box on their notebooks

2.2 Oral Practice

Teachers Activity
The teacher will present pictures containing
sentences that are in the simple past and let
the students read the sentences. Afterwards
the teacher will ask the students to pick out
the verbs which are in the simple past.

of the game is for the students to change the

can. The group with the most number of
correct answers wins the game.
