BAPTISMAL PREPARATION The next meeting is on Saturday, 18th April
2015 at 10am in the Holy Family Chapel. If you would like to have your child
baptised please put your name on the list at the back of the church and come
along on the 18th. If you do not live in the parish it is essential to get your own
parish priests permission before the meeting. Please have some alternative dates
for the ceremony ready. It is also now essential that at least ONE parent
provide a copy of their baptismal certificate.
Desert Island Disciples at Brentwood Cathedral. Fr Martin
Boland will interview a Cardinal, an Abbot, an Archbishop and a
bishop about their faith and lives. Wednesday evenings,
continuing on 18th March at 7.30 pm in the Cathedral parish hall,

FIRST COMMUNION 2015 Next meeting for children only on Wednesday,
18th March 2015 from 5.15-6.30pm in the youth hall followed by Mass for
parents and children on Sunday, 22nd March arriving by 8.45am.
GIFT AID ENVELOPES The new boxes (beginning on 12th April) are
available at the back of the church in alphabetical order by surname. Please
collect after Mass. Many thanks to all those who belong to the scheme which
yields over 10,000 a year to parish funds at no extra cost to those who
participate HMRC refund the tax on the amount you already contribute. All it
takes is one simple form. Please have a word with me after Mass if you have any
questions.

DBS CHECKS FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS Would leaders of parish


organisations working with children and/or vulnerable adults please inform me of
any new volunteers joining since September 2014 who may need DBS
certification. Please telephone Liz Delahunty: 020 8550 1071.
WEEKDAY MASS It is wonderful to see so many parents bringing their
children to the 8.30am Mass before school especially during Lent. This is such a
good way for the children to start the day with Jesus and keep Him with them
throughout the day. It is, of course, perfectly alright for them to leave after
receiving Holy Communion in order not to be late for school.
SACRISTANS, READERS AND EMs HOLY WEEK AND EASTER - In
order to be able to prepare the Rotas for Holy Week and Eastertide, I should be
very grateful if you would let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE your
availability for the following Liturgies
1. PALM SUNDAY - 29th MARCH - Vigil Mass at 6.30 pm and Sunday 9 and
11 am.
2. MAUNDY THURSDAY 2nd APRIL - Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper
7.30 pm.
3. GOOD FRIDAY 3rd APRIL - Solemn Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord at 3
pm
4. EASTER VIGIL MASS 4th APRIL 8 pm
5. EASTER DAY 5th APRIL THE RESURRECTION OF THE LORD - 9 am
and 11 am
