The Yogya Kembali Monument is located in Yogyakarta.

It is three kilometres north

of the Yogya city centre in the Jongkang village of the Sleman Regency. The
monument was inaugurated on June 29th, 1985 to commemorate the historic
Indonesian struggle for independence. Yogya Kembali means Yogya Returns, as a
reminder of the returning of the Indonesian Republic Government.
There are two sections of the Yogya Kembali Monument. The first section of the
Cureng Aircraft is on the eastern gate, while the other section of Guntai Aircraft
stands closer to the western entrance of the monument. The Monument has two
wheeled-machine guns which can be seen from a podium towards the eastern and
the western side. In the southern end of the yard, there is a wall engraved with 420
names of freedom fighters who lost their lives during a great struggle, from
December 19th, 1948 to June 29th, 1949. A poem by Chairil Anwar, titled Karawang
Bekasi, is written on one side of the wall dedicated to these unknown patriots.
The Yogya Kembali Monument is surrounded by fish ponds. It is divided into four
alleys which lead to the main building. The main building consists of different floors
displaying a wide range of collections during and after the war times. It shows
dioramas, carved reliefs or collection of clothes and weapons.

Hotels
People sometimes need hotels if they travel far from homes. They sometimes need hotels
when they arrive in cities late at night and they do not have any relatives there.
Hotels are places that provide lodging and usually meals and various personal services for
the public. A good hotel provides many comforts and conveniences. Travel is usually safe and
pleasant.
Hotels with hundreds of rooms are common. People can find the advertisements of the
hotels in newspapers, brochures, the internet, and magazines. Downtown hotels survive and
prosper because of two important factors. First, business travellers wish to stay close to the
offices or industrial plants they plan to visit. Second, the location of the airport is close to the
hotels.
As the pace of jet travel grows, hotels spring up near airports. Some travellers stay at the
airport inns when their flights are delayed. To save time, business executives often select airport
hotels for meetings or conferences. Once the plane lands, the hotel is only minutes away.

Jellyfish
Jellyfish are not really fish. They are invertebrate animals. This means that unlike
fish or peopple, they have no backbones. In fact, they have no bones at all.
Jellyfish have stomachs and mouths, but no heads. They have nervous systems for
sensing the world around them, but no brains. They are made almost entirely of water,
which is why you can look through them.
Some jellyfish can glow in darkness by making their own light. The light is made
by a chemical reaction inside the jellyfish. Scientists believe jellyfish glow for several
reasons. For example, they may glow to scare away predators or to attract animals they
like to eat.
Most jellyfish live in salt water, apart from a few types that live in fresh water.
Jellyfish are found in oceans and seas all over the world. They live in war, tropical seas
and in icy waters near the North and South poles.
A kangaroo is an animal found only in Australia. It has a smaller relative, called a
wallaby, which lives on the Australian island of Tasmania and in New Guinea.
Kangaroos eat grass and plants. They have short front legs, but very long and strong
back legs and a tail. These are used for sitting up and for jumping. Kangaroos have
been known to make forward jumps of over eight metres, and leap across fences
more than three metres high. They can also run at speeds of over 45 kilometres per
hour.
The largest kangaroos are the Great grey kangaroo and the Red Kangaroo. Adult
grows to a length of 1.60 metres and weighs over 90 kilos.
Kangaroos are marsupials. This means that the female kangaroo has an external
pouch on the front of her body. A baby kangaroo is very tiny when it is born, and it
crawls at once into this pouch where it spends its first five months of life.

GORILLAS
Gorillas are the largest of all the primates. A male gorilla can be 180 centimeters
tall and can weigh 200 kilograms. Gorillas are very strong but they do not
often fight. In fact they are peaceful animals. Gorillas live in small family groups of
about 15. In a group there is one strong, older male, some young males, and
a few females with their babies. They move slowly around a large area of jungle
eating leaves and bushes.
In some ways gorillas are very like humans. When they are happy,
they laugh and wave their arms. When they are angry, they beat their chests.
When they are sad, they cry. But they cry quietly, without any tears.
Unfortunately, people hunt and kill gorillas. They also cut down and burn their trees.

There are now only about 10,000 gorillas left in the world.
