RESUMO
A cidade o locus da reproduo do capital, o capital por sua vez define a forma
espacial e social, fazendo com que acontea uma diviso na organizao espacial e
tambm na qualidade de vida da populao. Objetiva-se ento compreender com o
presente trabalho o processo de segregao scio espacial na cidade de Ipor-GO,
decorrente da forma de produo do espao e do uso do solo atentando-se para as
marcas da segregao espacial, atravs da comparao entre os bairros Santo Antnio e
o Setor Bela Vista. Foi realizada uma leitura bibliogrfica para definio do processo de
segregao com autores que discutem sobre a problemtica, o que serviu para a
construo do suporte terico. Foi realizado tambm um questionrio junto aos
moradores de ambos os bairros para constatar as infra-estruturas presentes e o que poder
pblico tem feito para melhorar a qualidade de vida nesses moradores. A descrio foi
feita a partir de duas funes importantes que a cidade desempenha funes sociais
urbansticas e cidadania. As funes sociais urbansticas so voltadas para as questes
de habitao, trabalho e mobilidade; cidadania so aquelas que representam o bem estar
do cidado como educao, sade, segurana e proteo. Estas duas funes foram
observadas como ponto de referencia para o estudo em questo. A partir dessas funes
conclumos que o processo de segregao scio-espacial um produto das
desigualdades e dos conflitos sociais, isso quer dizer que as classes sociais espalharam
pelo territrio conforme o seu capital. Ento os bairros com melhor infra-estrutura tanto
publica quanto privada selecionara seus habitantes, fazendo com que acontea o
processo de segregao espacial e enquanto o fazer do poder publico ainda a muito que
fazer para alguns bairros como o Setor Santo Antonio que um dos bairros de estudo,
necessrio uma poltica mais eficaz e planejada. Nesta lgica podemos afirmar que
cidade de Ipor passa por um lento processo de segregao espacial.

ABSTRACT
The city is the locus of the reproduction of the capital, the capital for his/her time
defines the space and social form, doing with that a division happens in the space
organization and also in the quality of life of the population. It is aimed at then to
understand with the present work the process of segregation space partner in the city of
Ipor-GO, due to the form of production of the space and of the use of the soil being
looked at the marks of the space segregation, through the comparison between the
neighborhoods Santo Antnio and the Section Seen Beautiful woman. A bibliographical
reading was accomplished for definition of the segregation process with authors that
discuss on the problem, what was for the construction of the theoretical support. It was
also accomplished a questionnaire close to the residents of both neighborhoods to verify
the present infrastructures and the one that public power has been doing to improve the
life quality in those residents. The description was made starting from two important
functions that the city carries out town plannings social functions and citizenship. The
town plannings social functions are gone back to the house subjects, work and mobility;
citizenship is those that represent the good to be of the citizen as education, health,
safety and protection. These two functions were observed as point of reference for the
study in subject. Starting from those functions we concluded that the process of partnerspace segregation is a product of the inequalities and of the social conflicts, that means
that the social classes spread for the in accordance territory his/her capital. Then the
neighborhoods with better infrastructure so much publish as toilet had selected their
inhabitants, doing with that the process of space segregation happens and while doing of
the power still publishes to a lot that to do for some neighborhoods as the Setor Santo
Antonio that is one of the study neighborhoods, is necessary a more effective politics
and drifted. In this logic we can affirm that city of Ipor goes by a slow process of space
segregation.
