HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Brigades Quality Improvement Proposal
For the
CBA FACULTY MONITORING SYSTEM

Part 1
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Once you start working on something dont be afraid of failure and dont abandon it.
People who work sincerely are the happiest-chanakya
All our dear faculty professors should be respected and obey. By monitoring them, we will
know if they have good attendance percentage, and the causes that will benefit not just the
faculty or professors but also the students.
Our vision is to become a world-class institution of learning with a unique Christian culture of
excellence, discipline and service to humanity to achieve this, we must improve the
monitoring system to provide a high percentage facilities for the faculty members to
motivate them to do their duties and responsibilities . In this case we achieve our aim to
have world class institution learning.
The importance of CBA Faculty Monitoring system is superior monitoring of
professors/faculty to achieve greater performance by allowing us to implement our proposed
quality improvement for monitoring the faculty/ professor. This improvement plan will be fair
for those professors who urge to complete attending their class and those professors who
are always absent. It is important because if our school gets a good feedback, just like we
have discussed in marketing the buzz marketing it will continuously spread without
advertising. Through the words of mouth, our school may gain good reputation that would
be used for the next generation of students.
By monitoring them , it easily to know in the part of the students to understand what is the
possible reason or cause why some faculty members coming late to their class or some
other around they are not attending their classes.
We avoid here, to have a bad impression of some students to their professor why it is late or
absent in their class. Our mission is to provide quality education if some may be many
professors are actually attending their classes. Thats why the purpose of this improvement
plan is to improve CBA faculty monitoring system that will benefit the whole department.
The significance of total quality management is like what this subject is taught to us that
monitoring should be used as a means of gathering information that can be used to improve
quality, not simply to absenteeism of the faculty.
The highlights and findings of our study is majority of the students answers that sometimes
their professors are late. Even though their professor was absent, the professor gives a task
or an activity for that day. But one thing is the result of attending class but stays outside has
also the high percentage of sometimes answer. Thats why we want this improvement plan
to improve the superior monitoring of every faculty. The Quality Management System can be
considered a mechanism for managing and continuously improving more process to
achieve maximum students satisfaction at the lowest overall cost to the organization.

Part 2
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The following quality issues noted during the actual observation/
experience of the
CBA Faculty Monitoring System:
1. CBA Students will not learn anything due to absenteeism of
their professors.
The CBA classes have a class schedule of either 2 meetings per
week, or only once per week.
Once a professor is preferred to be absent for that day, they will be
miss discussion, report, or quiz.
This will totally not benefit the students because their time is
wasted, their transportation allowance, and tuition fee.
2. Professors who come late above the prescribed time allowance
of 30 minutes.
The students who were waiting will cause too much noise that can
disturb other classes.
The professors who have 2 meetings per week class schedules, two
and a half hours of class will not use efficiently because the
professor is late and they may do less activities because there is
little time left to do those tasks.
If the professor exceeds the allotted late allowance of 30 minutes,
some students may not decide not to attend class and go home.
3. Inconsistent faculty monitoring of CBA personnel.
We, students notice that CBA staff only monitors in the first month
of the start of every semester.
With lack of monitoring personnel, some professors may abuse this
because there is no personnel who will monitor if they really
attending and teaching inside the classroom.

MANPOWER

a. Lack of personnel monitoringCBA personnel is not enough to handle the

monitoring of

attendance of each faculty/professors.

b.
No personnel who will continuously check if the Professors is inside the
classroom or not
If there are no personnel some professors will not have fear of attending
their classes or not.

MATERIAL

a. Inefficient monitoring sheetsif the monitoring sheets are inefficient, it can

be ineffective materials to conduct information about the Profs Attendance.
b. No monthly attendance report/record cardsit theres no monthly attendance
report card there will be discrepancy regarding in Profs Attendance.

MACHINE / SYSTEM
a. Lack of CCTV Cameras in the Corregidor lack of CCTV camera can be difficult to
the monitors to conduct accurate information about professors attendance.

b. Lack of tapping machine for every CBA classroom for every classroom there
must be a tapping
machine; its the evidence of truly attending class. This may
have a memory card provided for each tapping machine.

METHODS/ PROCEDURES

a. Inadequate policies regarding over absenteeism and tardiness of

professors With inadequate policies, its like a country without a law.
Theres no orderliness and appropriateness.
b. Inconsistent monitoring procedures- We, students notice that CBA staff
only monitors in the first month of the start of every semester.

Recommendation and Benefits

The benefits of CBA Faculty Monitoring System both in terms of tracking the
CBA faculty members to be well-informed the management if the professors attend
or had been out every subjects that they handled and for the CBA students to
become more knowledgeable regarding how their professors manage and split their
time. Observing our current faculty attendance for attending class, we recommend
developing this kind of new monitoring system. These will not only benefit the
current students of CBA but also the next generation of students who will study in
CBA. And also it benefited the NEU because it will gain good quality of faculties and
ways of handling their respected faculty members. If we implement this now, the
CBA will assure that all professors is doing their job and not waste the time of
students who are willing to learn every day. By these benefits and advantages we
recommend the different solutions stated as follows:
1. We recommend the management to provide CCTV cameras and two
personnel that will keep an eye to the screen, and another one staff
that will roam along the CBA department to get some information
why the professors didnt make to attend their respective class
a. If the professors know that they are being monitored, this will help to urge
and motivate
them to really attend their classes every day.
b. This will also help if the professor is always leaving their class during their
class hours.
c. It will lessen the number of professors absentees.
d. CCTV cameras will be a great help on monitoring the professors if they really
attend their
respective classes.
