We are fortunate to have the leadership of Dr.

Kenneth
Cloud in the Bowen Baptist Association. Dr. Cloud, Ken as I call
him, is leading our association in ministry and missions and doing a
marvelous job. One evidence of this is the completion of the Alpha
Pregnancy Center in Donaldsonville. This center will offer hope
and help to unwed mothers not only in our association but all of
Southwest Georgia and Northwest Florida. The Dedication Service
for the center will be this Sunday, March 22, at 2:30PM in the
Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. From there
everyone is invited to tour the center and enjoy some light
refreshments. I think this would be a great ministry for our Church
to join.
Thank You for your faithfulness in giving to the Annie
Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Your
gifts go to support the work of Southern Baptist throughout North
America. New church plants, seminaries, children, seamen, and
many more will benefit from this offering. Our church goal was
$5,000 and we exceeded that amount by receiving a total of
$6,354.25 in the Ingathering. If you havent given you may still do
so. Note as of this publication a total of $6,644.25 has been given.
We are in the Easter season and celebrating the
Resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Join us this Sunday as we
look together at The Power of the Cross. I look forward to seeing

TABLES OF LOVE is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church.
The goal is to draw the women of our community, including those who
are unchurched, into Christian fellowship.

SONS OF JUBAL NOTES
JUBAL BRASS WILL SHARE AT FBC BAINBRIDGE
THURSDAY, APRIL 30
The full Sons of Jubal choir will be in Tifton on Thursday,
April 16th. Indicate your interest by signing the list by the water fountain at the Shell Annex entrance to the Sanctuary.
The Jubal Brass will come here to Bainbridge on Thursday, April 30. The concert begins at 7 PM.

Easter Egg Hunt AND Picnic AND Softball Game!

Johnson at 10 am.
IN CASE OF RAIN! The softball game will be cancelled, but we will
move the egg hunt and picnic into the gym and add some fun games to
the mix!

Clarkston Mission Trip April 10-12

Join us as we minister to refugees. Our plan is to host a cooking
assimilation class, prayer walk and host a block party. If you are
interested in participating, please contact me ASAP. Total cost will be
$25 per person, plus 3 fast food type meals. Special family rates are

CentriKid Camp
July 13-15 Norman Park, GA
For children who completed 2nd-5th grade. Total cost is $150 per
child. Scholarships are available. Sign up with $50 deposit by March

30 Hour Famine

We will be participating in the 30 hour famine this

year. The date for our famine is set for April 17.
The goal of the event is to raise awareness for
global hunger as well as to raise funds to support
World Visions ministry to fighting global hunger.
Do you know that for $425 you can feed a child
through World Vision for an entire year? Be looking
out for details about the 30 Hour Famine.

Merge 2015

The deadline to have your deposit in for our

summer mission camp is Wednesday March, 18th.
The deposit is $50 per student and the total cost
for Merge is $100. You need to register online or
at church by this Wednesday. You can access the
registration form at the student ministry blog at
www.firstbainstudents.blogspot.com.

CHANCEL CHOIR
Reminder that we will all meet in the Choir Room this Sunday
at 5:00 PM for the last of our full group bonus rehearsals.
Take some time this weekend to sing through the musical with
your CD in preparation for Sundays joint rehearsal.
