COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objective of this course is to provide a basic introduction to
the theory of digital signal processing (DSP)
It is assumed that the students have a basic familiarity with
complex variables, the Fourier, Laplace and Z transforms and
concepts such as linearity and shift invariance that are used in
the description and analysis of linear analog systems
Most of the topics will be around filter structure and design
with programming sessions in Matlab
