Dear Christian Friends,
Thank you once again for your faithful support for our ministry in Ghana, West Africa. The generous and
gracious ways that you have shown your love continues to encourage us. Blessings to you as you continue to
serve Him.
ON THE FIELD
EMMANUEL ADDISON. a student at Ghana Christian College continues to await his heart surgery:
Some response has been given both from Ghana and the U.S. The total received towards his surgery is around
$2000.
He needs $10,000 for the total cost, and at least $5000 to go ahead with the surgery.
His
4.Thickened right coronary leaflet of the Aortic Valve with moderate Severe Aortic Valve Incompetence.
5. Severe Tricuspid valve Incompetence:
6. Severe Pulmonary Valve Incompetence with incised pulmonary artery pressure (48mm Hg).
Management will involve replacement of the Aortic and Mitral Valves with prosthetic valves and repair of the
tricuspid valve.
Comment; While Ido not pretend to understand all of the above diagnosis, I certainly believe Mr. Addison's life is
dependent on the success of this operation. He has been granted a leave from Ghana Christian College &
Seminary.
prestigious school campus in Ghana (residential high school). The graduation was attended by approximately
1200 people. These events are huge in Ghana because they represent a celebration of accomplishment that
friends, churches, and families want to enjoy.
NEW STUDENTS: 58 prospective students were interviewed and tested. 38 have been accepted for the fulltime course beginning in Sept. This represents the largest class of Freshmen, if they all decide to enroll.
GET-GOING FUND; This fund to help evangelists plant new churches is now being turned over to the
management of Ghanaians in the National Evangelistic Committee of the Christian Churches in Ghana. Tim is a
consultant to the committee. Therefore, funds that Tim has handled personally for national evangelists will be
turned over to the Ghanaians to distribute as they decide. You may continue to support national evangelists as
you have done in the past. The funds will be transferred to the Evangelistic Committee in Ghana.
GOO RELOCATION: The work has come to a standstill. We are waiting for "FINAL" government clearance of
the title to the land. The College has a temporary copy of the title, but patiently awaits for the often delayed and
complicated completion of the final forms. No other work has been projected at this time. As soon as the building
committee and the central committee set priorities, Tim will send information regarding prioritized items to brethren
in the U.S. for their prayerful consideration and financial help.

Our electric bill has gone from $40 per month to $175 per month since the first of the year. We have
cut down on usage, but the increase in price has been extremely high.
RECENT FLOODS in Accra devastated many homes, wiped out huge quantities of rice and flour, and totally
destroyed several business. They also damaged some of the huge car dealerships such as Nissan, Toyota and
Goodyear. Our house was spared. We only found a small leak in the roof of the living room. We received 10-17
inches of rain in 7 hours on fvlonday, July 3-4. Our phones were out for about a week. THEY ARE WORKING
NOW. Electricity was off about 16 hrs. for us. Other parts of the city the problems were more severe. Worst hit
were people who lived in shacks along low lying areas near drainage ditches and small streams. Pictured below is
our Post Office. The bottom level is our box and where all the mail and phone lines with AT&T are linked.
