Wallys Big Push is heading our way

Join Wallys Big Push on Saturday, April 11 and help raise
funds for charity.
Breast cancer survivor Michael
Beck BEM, 82, is walking with
Wally Wheelbarrow and friends
on a three-mile route through
the Chalke Valley as part of a
fundraising campaign for Stars
Appeals Breast Cancer Unit.
Stars is a Salisbury District Hospital charity that helps local people across all wards and departments but
has a particular focus on cancer, cardiac
care, and children and babies. Michael, pictured, and his fundraising wheelbarrow have
already raised several thousand pounds that

have been used in various departments at the hospital.

He said: Having survived
breast cancer myself, this campaign means a great deal to me
and I want to help in any way I
can. At 82, it will certainly be a
challenge but I feel up to it and so does Wally!
If you would like to join them in
their venture, contact Will Hillary
on 01722 780271 or Andrew
Reiss on 01722 780257. It costs just 10 to
participate and includes a light lunch here at
The Queens Head - the walks destination. It
starts at 10.30am in Fifield Bavant. To donate,

time its the turn of First
Call. This rich and hoppy
beer is brewed from a single hop variety. First Gold
are dwarf hops that were developed in
the 1990s and grow low in hedgerows.
