INTRODUCTION
This document describes the document numbering system (DNS) to be used on all deliverables for
Cheves Hydropower Project except the T-contract. The document numbering system of the Tcontractor can be found in Appendix 1.

documents. NOTE: The document manager shall be contacted if a document number for a formal
deliverable is required.

1.7.2 Civil Drawings, Numbers based on Section of Area

The running number of the formwork and reinforcement drawings shall for some of the main areas
(A, B, C, etc) be further divided into subareas.
1.7.3 Electromechanical Drawings, Numbers based on Section or Function Code

The running number of the electromechanical drawings shall be divided into subareas, which
reflect the function code of generator, turbine and other electrical equipment.
Alphanumerical Numbers to be defined by ABB/Jeumont/Rainpower.

To be able to identify the state of the document and whether it is valid for construction, an
alphanumeric revision system is used. The revision system is according to Norconsults CADstandard. The letter identifies the state of the document:

DOCUMENT NUMBERING SYSTEM, PROCESS DOCUMENTS

Documents prepared as part of the process shall follow a different denomination scheme than the
formal deliverables described above. The process documents are letters, memos etc. submitted as
part of the ongoing work and as partial deliverables prepared prior to the main deliverables.
The naming of the document shall be as follows:
NNFFFYYYYMMDD-O - <Description>
Note: The description does not form part of the document number, but shall be included in the
name of the file.
NN = Company Code (NC = Norconsult )
FFF = initials of the person responsible for preparing the document
YYYYMMDD = year, month, day of submittal
O = Running number of the process documents the document responsible is preparing that day
<Description> = A short text (title) describing the contents of the document
