Mr. Herbert Bacod
JC Premiere
Mr. Herbert Bacod is the representative of JC Premiere who gave a talk about
networking and franchising. According to Mr. Bacod, there are no risks in joining
their company because they have established a system that will ensure ones
success. He said that success is guaranteed if you are going to follow your mentors
and the system of the company. Also, their company has two types of business,
franchising and networking. I have learned that the Siomai King food stalls, which
are getting famous, belongs to their company. What I like about his talk is that he
was very energetic and that he was able to present himself and the JC Premiere in a
good way. Their company requires only a low amount of money for capital which
makes it convincing for students or people with low income to join unlike those
other networking companies which requires their people quite large amount of
money as their capital. Also, he had shown videos and clips of persons who became
successful through their company. However, I was quite doubtful with the fact that
their company was only established 2 years ago yet they have gained so much
success. I was thinking if they were just saying these things to recruit and invite
more people to join their company. Over all, the talk of Mr. Bacod was very
informative and interesting especially if you would want to open or start a business.

Mr. Bren Evangelista

Mr. Bren Evangelista was a graduate of B.S. Industrial Engineering at the

University of Santo Tomas. Mr. Bren Evangelista told us about his journey of
becoming successful in life. He said that life after graduation wasnt as easy as how
you think it is. Like we will not immediately get the salary that we want. He told us
all the trials that he had been through. That he opened two businesses (a waterrefilling station and a salon) and both of it failed and went bankrupted. He told us
that what kept him in pushing himself to work is the desire to achieve all of his
dreams. He wanted to have a bigger house, new cars, and a special dog. He also
told us that at first, he really dont trusts networking. He believed that people were
just wasting their money in networking. However, when someone he knows
introduced him to networking, he gave it a try and there he succeeded. According to
him, the key to success in a networking business is through following your mentors
for they will guide you to success. In his talk, I was motivated to study hard. He had
shown that nothing is impossible especially if you have a strong desire to have it.
He was able to achieve his dreams in just four years. For me, his talk was more
convincing for he had shown us a real example. He did not need to show other
people achievements because his experiences were enough for us to see that he

really did achieve his goals. Over all, his talk was very inspiring and I can relate to
him because I also want to give my parents something like a big house and car.
