2015 Spring Training - Charged with 6 ER in 2.2 IP 3/21 @CHI for L#1, but didnt get a lot of help from his defense (6 H, 1 BB, 2 SO, 2
HR)...tossed 3.1 IP vs. SEA minor leaguers in a sim game 3/15 (2 H, 4 SO)...six BF in 2.0 IP 3/10 at COL in first spring outing; walked 1
and induced a GIDP.
Last Season - Went 15-6 with a league-best 2.14 ERA (56 ER, 236.0 IP) in 34 GS with Seattle...27 QS...second in Cy Young race.
ERA Title - Claimed the second ERA crown of his career with a 2.14 mark (Sale, 2.17).
Low ERA - ERA was lowest by an AL starting pitcher since Pedro Martinez (1.74) in 2000...set Mariners single-season record.
