In WINMAG, you can define individual alarm types and allocated alarm reasons.
The alarm type (as superordinated category) defines the alarm type allocation stack and protocol into which a
message is entered. The alarm type is achieved by way of starting the program or by allocation of the alarm
reason. This allocation can be executed by way of starting the program or by way of allocation of the alarm
reason to the alarm type.
You can edit the list of alarm reasons and alarm types as required in the WINMAG database. You can allocate
a user-defined text to the system text.

Global variables:
Within WINMAG, global variables are available to all SIAS programs. Variable values can be queried and
edited.
There are two different types of global variables:
1. I/O device variables
Global variables can be created as I/O devices in the network configuration as System Object Variables.
These variables have an I/O device format with 8 states having 16 function values each. A special
characteristic of these I/O devices is that inputs (0-7) are automatically linked to the corresponding outputs.
Thus if a user selects a particular control functio of the variable then the value of the variable is immediately
set to the number of that control function.
2. System variables
Global variables defined in the SIAS triggering conditions.
These variables are defined with name and type in the AUSBED program via the SIAS command var.
In programs which use or edit variables, a variable is identified as global system variable via the SIAS
command system var.
The value of the variable remains saved even if the triggering condition is interrupted (e.g. when changing
to system configuration).

Example:
<<< if (alarm_reason_nr = 10 and user_priority >3000 and time from 08:00 to 17:00) then ...>>>
Executes actions if message relates to alarm reason 10, user priority is higher than 3000 and the time is
between 08.00 and 17.00 hours.

SIAS controls
SIAS controls are components that can be integrated in the SIAS syntax. Generally, these are small user
applications that can exchange data with the SIAS program.
After you have selected this option, you can select a component from the list of controls available.
Button
Checkbox
Checkbox that, when activated, displays the time when it was last
checked. Once the checkbox has been checked the program
continues executing.

Decision control for user programs. The user can only select one
of these buttons. A variable can be allocated which contains the
text of the button chosen.

All control selections can be transferred to WINMAG via variable data that can be individually evaluated.
You can configure controls via the Properties menu (e.g. fonts, highlighting colour, allocated texts,
selection lists, click behaviour, ...). This can be found by right-clicking on the control.

Customized Controls
You can also create your own controls e.g. using Visual Basic or Visual C.
To enable WINMAG to use these controls,
@ the name must include SIAS at arbitrary position, e.g. SIASYesNoControl
@ they must be registered at the computer (regvr32, see also 7.2.2.3.1)
@ the necessary DLLs must be installed.
The communication between the control and the SIAS program occurs by predetermined variables.

7.
Approximately 600 symbols for fire, intrusion, access control, network, objects and general symbols are
supplied with WINMAG.
The symbols are always based on an I/O device type description. A specific picture can be allocated to any
function value within a state. Such a picture is called a layer. Layers are included in the WINMAG Layer
subdirectory. You can apply any drawing program to edit layers or add to layers.
It is possible to create some symbols or to adapt the symbols supplied to your own requirements.
A new symbol description includes:
- Entry in the Symbols list (includes name, I/O device type allocation and the symbol ID)
- Enter layer pictures in the SymbolLayer table with ID, picture name (path to picture not
required if entry is executed in the standard directory Layer), state number and function value number
- Allocation of Symbollayer to Symbole in the Symboldefinition table.

The operating unit module occupies 2 addresses on BUS1 and thus also 2 I/O devices (n, n+1).
Only the BUS1 addresses 1, 5, 9,..can be occupied by operating unit modules. Thus, it is
automatically the case that only specific I/O devices can be used for operating unit modules (e.
g. with string 1 I/O 257/258, I/O 261/262, I/O 265/266 ...).

Group allocation:
Via the menue "Detector group offset for the remote inputs" in the programming function 517
you can define to which area of detector groups the remote inputs may be allocated. Always 8
remote inputs are allocated to a detector group. The following table shows the allocation:
IGIS remote input -> allocated to detector group
1 - 8 -> detector group - Offset+0
9 - 16 -> detector group - Offset+1
17 - 24 -> detector group - Offset+2

2.1
Access code
A special access code for IGIS is available for the commands INIT_MP and SET_FILT.
This special code is entered in the M100 using the programming function 517.
2.2
Tamper message
Using the function 517 you can program at the central unit 561-MB100 whether or not a tamper
message shall be triggered if a wrong access code has been entered .
If "Tamper if code incorrect" is active, triggering of a tamper message is executed
if a wrong access code has been entered 9 times or if a wrong password (561-MB100) has been
transmitted.
For systems designed as per VdS directives,
"Tamper if code incorrect" may not be active otherwise the central unit
is no longer nonreactive in relation to IGIS.
2.3
Using function 517 you can program at the central unit 561-MB100 whether or not
switching actions that influence external arming of the central unit are permitted via IGIS.
If programming of "Extern switching by IGIS is set to "NO", the following switching
actions are not permitted :
- External arming of areas
- External disarming of areas.
- External deactivating of detector groups
- Clearing of detector groups with external arming.
- Clearing of tamper alarms.
- Clearing of intrusion alarms with external arming main area via the I/O devices
Pos. 4 Main areas 1...16 IS 0).
With units designed as per VdS directives, "Extern switching by IGIS"
must be set to "NO" as otherwise the central unit is not nonreactive

BUS1-user interface
The user interface occupies 2 addresses on BUS1 and thus also 2 I/O devices (n, n+1). Only the
BUS1 addresses 1, 5, 9,..can be occupied by user interfaces. Thus, it is automatically the case
that only specific I/O devices can be used for user interfaces (e. g. with string 1 I/O I/O- start and
I/O- start+1, I/O- start+4 and I/O- start+5,
I/O- start+8 and I/O- start+9 ...).

Group allocation:
Via the menue "Detector group offset for the remote inputs" in the programming function 517 you
can define to which area of detector groups the remote inputs may be allocated. Always 8 remote
inputs are allocated to a detector group. The following table shows the allocation:
