someseriousthreatsandthuswaswelcomedbytheblastwhich
was then named as Saniha Karsaz killing numerous PPP
followersfortunatelyBenazirsurvivedinthisattack,butwhen
conductinganelectionrallyinRawalpindishewasshotinthe
headwhichprovestobefatal.Thusthenationfeeldevastatedat
theterriblelossofthegreatPolitician.ThedeathofBenazirthus
causedtheelectionstobepostponedforthefewmonthssothe
politicalsituationsshouldbecontrolled.

Benazir's Assassination

In2008nationfeelemotionallyattachedtothePPPwhowas
then supervised by Benazirs son i.e. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari
who became the chairmen of PPP. Thus PPP proved to be
victorious in the elections that were held on 18 thof February
2008followedbyPML(N).OntheotherhandPTIhadalready
withdrawnfromtheelections.

SoonafterPPPruleasagovernmenttheeconomicunbalance
startedtoofretful.HigherratesofPetrol,Diesel,anddailybasis
living things put aggression in the public. The government
neithersolvedanyprobleminsteadkeeponraisingprices.
Aftertheirrulewhichwasnotsuccessfulatallthecountrywas
fallenintomountsofdebtsandhighpricesofeverything.

authoritiestheycompromiseonfollowingconditions:
Firstandmostpriordemandwastocallforelectoralreformsi.e.
vetoingcorruptincumbentsfromtakingpartintheelectionsand
tobringforwardthedatefortheelectionASAP.

Qadrialsodemandedfortheinterimgovernmentfromtheinput
ofjudiciaryandmilitarytoholdthechargeofthecountrybefore

elections,asthisconceptabolishesthehistoryofPakistansothis
offer was refused by the military. Upon reaching Islamabad
QadriputanewdemandfortheParliamentdissolutionby15thof
Jan by making president of Pakistan an ex president. The
protestlastfor3dayswhichresultsinputtingnewdemandsday
by day. Now the demand was to dissolution of provincial
assembliesanddisbandingofElectionCommissionofPakistan
(ECP).

The demands of Qadri were accepted in

suchawaythatElectionstobeheldon11thofMay.National
Assemblywouldbedissolvedbefore16thofMarchandelections
tobeheldwithin90daysfollowingonemonthofscrutinyunder
Articles61and62undertheconstitutionofPakistan.
Qadri congratulatedprotesterson the night of 17thJan after
meetingwiththegovernmentcorrespondentandsaidItisaday
of victory for the marchers and the nation alike. [I thank]
Almighty Allah who bestowed His blessings [on the
protesters].
2013electionsthenappearedtobebogusbyhavingnumerous
corruptionsinmostoftheNAs.Imrankhanthechairmenof
PTIheldcountrywideproteststatingtoreheldtheelections.

20072013politicaldevelopmentcausesgreatdisturbanceinthe
countryeconomicsituation.Daybydayprotesthasalsocaused
thebusinessofthepublictobeshuttereddown,schoolstobeoff
andsameisthecaseofwork.Moreoverduetostrikestheroads
wereblockedwhichcausespeopletostayathomeandpatients
to die on road. May such situations never ever come in the
futurePakistanAmeen.
