Accelerated implementation of SAP POS with ASAP for SAP POS

Challenges and feedback from customers and the field
Id like to make it
transparent for my
prospective customer
how an efficient POS
implementation
project would look
like.

I need to have a proper insight into a

SAP POS implementation in order to
ensure that the implementation project
is fast and efficient with a high quality
result and low risk.

I need to have a solid

information base
regarding SAP POS
implementations for a
highly reliable project
proposal.
With available Best
Practice blueprint
documents, test cases
and other important
deliverables, we could
speed up our SAP POS
implementation projects

I like to know which

resources are required
from our side for which
tasks during the
implementation.

Best Practices

Prototype oriented Business Blueprint

In the workshops, a pre-configured SAP POS
system with the Baseline Configuration is used as
a prototype
After each workshop, relevant customer-specific
adoptions can be directly implemented in the
prototype

customers directly in the Business Blueprint
workshops
After each workshop, only customer specifics need
to be adapted in the Best Practice Blueprint
documents

Accelerated Business Blueprint

Strongly accelerated preparation

of the Business Blueprint
workshops and documentation of
the workshop results, as there are
only customer specifics to be
adapted in the Best Practice
blueprint documents

The prototype shows the

customers key users hands-on
how their future system and the
key processes would look like.
This allows a very target-oriented
and quick alignment and
contributes to avoid
misconception.

Detailed project plan is an

important basis for target-oriented
work, successfully managing a
tight schedule and gaining high
transparency on the progress
