INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The2GIGWirelessKeypad(2GIGPAD1345)isawallmountedunit
designedforuseasasecondarykeypadforthe2GIGsecuritysystem.
ItcommunicateswiththeControlPanelusingthe345MHzfrequency
andprovidesuserswiththefollowingfeatures:

Disarmthesystem
ActivateFireandPanicemergencyfunctions

TomounttheWirelessKeypad:

SimultaneouslypressthehingedtabsontopoftheWireless
Keypadtoseparatethemountingplatefromthekeypad.Seein

Testing
BeforemountingtheWirelessKeypadinthedesiredlocation,verify
thatthelocationprovidesforgoodradiofrequency(RF)
communicationtotheControlPanel.
TotesttheWirelessKeypad:
1 PlacetheControlPanelintosensortestmode.Forinstructions,
seetheControlPanelsInstallation&ProgrammingGuide.
2 PressandholdanynumerickeyontheWirelessKeypadforatleast
two(2)seconds.
3 Listenforasirenorkeypadbeepstodeterminetheappropriate
response.Forinformation,seetheControlPanelsInstallation&
ProgrammingGuide
4 Exitsensortestmode.
NOTE: Itisstronglyrecommendedthatyouperformasystemtest

usingtheinstructionsintheControlPanelsInstallation&

Connectthebatteriesbyremovingthetwobatterypulltabs.The
pulltabsarelocatednearthemetalclipsoneachbattery.See

Installing and Replacing the Batteries


Toinstallandreplacethebatteries:
1 Pressthehingedtabsontopofthekeypadtoseparatethe
mountingplatefromtheunit.SeeFigure2onpage1.
2 Placeasmallflatheadscrewdriverintheslotbetweenthemetal
clipandthebattery.SeeFigure4above.
3 Twistthescrewdriverslightlywhileholdingtheblackplasticedges
holdingthebattery.SeeFigure4above.
4 Insertthereplacementbatteriesinthecompartment.Theplus(+)
signofbothbatteriesshouldbefacingupandtheminus()side
facingdown.
5 Ensurethattheprogrammingsettingsarecorrect.Fordetails,see
Wireless(RF)KeypadProgrammingintheControlPanels
