The Journal of Criminal Justice is a journal that focuses on the newest changes and updates
inside of the criminal justice system. This journal is for not only criminal justice administrators
but also for the everyday person trying to stay updated on the latest law changes, new ideas and
methods, and even the problems that they are facing. This Journal is released once every two
months. The editor Matthew DeLisi is the coordinator for the Department of Criminal justice at
Iowa State. This journal was founded in 1973, and the most recent issue was released in January
of 2015.

Police Chief. The Professional Voice of Law Enforcement is a monthly journal that has been in
print since September of 2003. This journal mainly focuses on law enforcement in the criminal
justice field. They cover topics ranging from police policies and tactics to simple law changes.
This Journals target audience is those involved in law enforcement or those planning to one day
be a part of it. The Editor Gene Voegtlin, is a graduate of Georgetown Law Center and currently

professionals who play a role in the study of criminal justice. This journal is distributed quarterly,

on scholarly evaluations, classification, prevention, intervention, and treatment programs to help
the correctional profession develop successful programs based on theories and scholarly
research. This journal has been in print since March of 1974 and released their most recent issue
on February of 2015. This journals target audience is anyone who is interested in the field of
criminal justice and those who play a role in criminal justice. The editor for this journal is Emily
J. Salisbury who is the head of the Department of Criminal Justice, University of Nevada, Las
