Work experience 2007- 2009 Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department, Syracuse, NY


Deputy Sergeant
- A-line watch supervisor, supervision of 10-20 subordinates,
review of paperwork submitted by deputies, assign cases and
direct follow-ups as needed, assist deputies with proper law
charges and paper work. Supervision of large incident scenes,
shootings, stabbings, fatal accidents as well as serious accidents
and unattended deaths. Training of subordinates, evaluations of
new recruits and deputies, investigations of pursuits, personnel
complaints and use of force reviews, with preparation of reports to
my supervisor as needed, and any possible reprimands or
discipline or commendations to a subordinate. Roll call duties,

directives, counseled deputies as needed. Prepared watch
summaries, made notifications and took notifications. Served as a
departmental police instructor for jail and road personnel. Also
worked several DWI details, as well as other traffic details in
addition to A-watch supervisor. Received a commendation for
supervision during a recent hostile incident.

personnel to follow-up, investigate cases, fatal accidents, deaths,

evidence technician for the department. Worked with other
