Traffic Detail- Patrols began work on a traffic safety detail funded by the Governor's Traffic Safety
Committee. These details focus enforcement on aggressive driving behaviors, as well as seatbelt,
cellphone and electronic device violations. Patrols use marked and unmarked cars, as well as bike and
foot patrols during the details. This is an ongoing initiative which will continue throughout the Spring and
summer. Motorist are reminded that destracted driving is the leading cause of personal injury and fatal
