Good day!
I am very interested on your offer of student assistantship in the university and I am willing to
apply for it. I am a transferee last semester and I tried to apply to the said assistantship knowing that I
must be a former student of the university having the grades that I got from learning in the university. As
a result, I did not qualify by failing to meet one requirement- grades from the university. Hence, I would
like to apply for this semester since I have met the requirements.
I am an irregular 2nd year student of the university, taking BS Accountancy as my degree course.
My mother is a housewife and acts as a president of our village but no income in return. My father is an
OFW working abroad for us to fulfill our financial demand both in home and school needs. However,
although my father is an OFW, his monthly income is inadequate to our behooves since my brother and I
are both studying in college. Principally, I am the one who mostly got the portion of his monthly income
because I enrolled in private university contrasting that my brother enrolled in public university. Knowing
the situation lamentably, I feel sorry to my father and decided to apply for scholarship in this university.
Helping my father by means of reducing my school expenses is my honor and I did not doubt about it.
Whereas, I am the reason why my father got himself work so hard abroad. And I think this is the way in
returning the favor.
I hope you will take this information and have your positive response regarding this matter, as it
would make the difference between me continuing my education or stopping and getting a job- in which I
think is the better option. My aim is to work hard and graduate in your university and becoming one in
encouraging me in reaching my aim is my indulgence. This school is the perfect fit for me academically
and socially and I know I would be able to contribute so much to the diversity of the student body. You
