AUFBAU PRINCIPLE: The subshell with lowest (n+l) value has less energy and is filled up
first and filling continues in increasing order of energies. If two or more subshells have
same (n+l) value, the subshell with lower value of n is filled up first.
HUNDS RULE OF MAXIMUM MULTIPLICITY : In a sublevel pairing of electrons start only
when all degenerate orbitals are given one electron each having same spin.
PAULIS EXCLUSION PRINCIPLE: In an atom no two electrons will have all the four quantum
numbers same.
While writing electronic configuration above three rules are followed. In general if unpaired
electron exist in (n-1) d sublevel then transition elements, ions and their compounds exhibit
paramagnetic nature and are coloured.
